Had a wonderful trip with my two grandson's. They really enjoyed feeding the goats, seeing the foxes and the soft play area. The staff in the cafe were so helpful and went above board to make food for my dairy intolerant little one. Thank you The Ark we will be back

Brilliant place for all the family. However the cafe was a bit hit and miss for a group of seven so take a picnic..Lots of places to sit.

Doing a grand job rescuing animals even though many failed to put in an appearance. Too many signs so one just misses things. Sign for ball play digger stating contactless payment needs to be lower down near the digger. Lost £2 and couldn't get refund. Took ages to get attention at front desk. Same worker that was unsympathetic about digger totally ignored me at the desk. Not enough toilets and no toilet paper. Stone path at monkey pen is dangerous as stones too big. Gate to dinosaur area hard to open. Both situations not good for disabled. Horrible stink of burning fat when we sat in play area. Steering wheel came off of the play area 'tractor'. Having said all that the 2 girls aged 12 and 9 enjoyed themselves but I wouldn't take a 15 year old. It really is for young children.

I don't normally leave reviews on places but I felt this was necessary. We arrived today and were really looking forward to spending the day here. I am shocked by how we were treated by the staff. The children were hungry so we took them into the Cafe for something to eat. They had a choice of children's boxes Which included a drink, sandwich, crisps (Wotsits), packet of party rings and Raisans. There was a sign that stated "DO NOT OPEN BOXES UNTIL AFTER PURCHASE". So we asked what was included in the boxes as My Friends Daughter has a milk allergy. The Crisps that were included in the boxes contain Milk, so my friend asked if she could swap to the dairy free alternative packet of Crisps. She was told no but she could pay an extra 50p instead. The woman serving us abruptly put the sandwiches on the counter and said "the sandwich with the serviette is dairy free butter". Upon opening the boxes we then saw the flavour of drink was Orange Fruit shoot, baring in my the children aren't given a choice with flavours. My friends Daughter explained she didn't like Orange Juice and could she swap it for a different flavour in which the staff responded with "No, we only do Orange" Even though the chiller had different Flavours of drink. We tagged the buisness on a post about our experience and the reply was Rude and VERY unprofessional and basically called my friend a liar. They told us how they had viewed CCTV footage of the incident yet ignored messages when we asked to see said footage. The park itself is outdated in some parts and some of the enclosures look too small for some of the Animals. The Raccoons spend most of the time pacing up and down the pens. I will no doubt get a rude and unprofessional reply to my review as per most of the negative posts they've recieved on here.

We'd planned to visit a wildlife park while we was on holiday in Ingoldmells. We choose this as it had some animals in we'd never seen in previous zoos or wildlife parks. It's not a very big park but it was still lots of fun, my children are 13 and 11 and they loved it. They enjoyed doing the stamp challenge and getting their dinosaur badges. The cafe was very busy and we had a wait but the food was spot on and couldn't fault it at all.I was shocked but also extremely pleased at how close u could get to the animals, unlike most places where your so far away from them. It was a great day out and would definitely go again.

Brilliant fun. Amazing animals and huge variety, wheelchair friendly and great prices. Love the animal enclosures but have to say the staff were all so friendly and kind. We really had a good time and the photos we got are amazing. We will definitely be back but highly recommend x

What a fantastic place. My 3 year old loved it. Plenty of exotic animals to see and wonderful that these beautiful creatures have been rescued. Loads of information about the animals and dinosaurs. The dinosaur lake was well kept and a fantastic addition. Brilliant well kept play areas and soft play centre. Would definitely return if in the area again. Couldn't fault it.

We last visited Ark in 2020 and what fantastic changes it has made! We love it when we go to places where the staff really care about the place and where money is put back into the business with such care. Lots of the animals are unusual and a real mixed bag as they are often rescues or animals seized from illegal trade/customs. Since the last time we came they have introduced the Trash Panda indoor soft play area which our sensory ASD little boy absolutely loved, and another indoor play area with a large climbing frame and some fab ride on electric carts (which take contactless card) that go around a track. So, now, so even if the weather is a bit iffy then you have some lovely fun bits to do. Likewise there is shaded/covered areas in front of the cafe. Really liked the dinosaurs they have added in now too. The tanuki will always be my fave!

Great little place, loads of animals to see. We went in the week and it wasn’t busy at all. The dinosaur walk was really good (apart from the goose who was in a bad mood)
