We had a wonderful day filled with pure adventure! We enjoyed seeing the countryside and learning about the history of Ireland! The kids enjoyed the sheep herding, an outdoor maze and running around the lakes. Lunch was delicious as well. Thank you for such an enjoyable day!

Eamonn planned an amazing day for my husband and me! He tailored the day to our interests, starting with a visit to K2 Alpaca Farm. We immediately felt like old friends. We left Dublin and were driven along the coast through beautiful towns past lakes with several short stops of interest along the way. Eamonn had arranged for a private tour at Glendalough and made lunch reservations for us. We stopped for some Gaelic sports craic. My husband was pretty good! The private demonstration of sheepherding dogs and drum tutorial at Michael's farm were a perfect end to the day. Eamonn clearly loves what he does and has a wealth of knowledge of Irish history, culture and music. We enjoyed listening to Irish traditional music along the way. And he knows how to tell a story! We spent our last day in Ireland with Eamonn and it did not disappoint! I could not think of a better way to wrap up our trip. Eamonn personalized our tour along the way and his knowledge and personality is unmatched. We added the sheepdog demonstration and drum lesson with Michael and that was quite an experience. Eamonn and Michael exude Irish charm that made us feel like we've known them for years. From the beautiful views, Irish history, drum lesson and whiskey tasting, Eamonn outdid himself. After asking about Gaelic football and hurling, Eamonn added an impromtu lesson along the way for my family. He had the equipment in his van and we were able to learn a few techniques for each sport! What a treat! When we asked about visiting a pub with Irish music in the evening, Eamonn quickly made a phone call to a friend to make sure traditional Irish music would be playing that evening at the pub. Expect VIP treatment on this tour. Eamonn went above and beyond our expectations. Our only regret is that we could not spend another day with him!

The best decision we made was to book ChaperoneVIP from a friend’s advice who had used his services previously, they gave outstanding reviews and now we know why, one of our fears was trying to navigate an unfamiliar country while driving on the opposite side of the road, along with the outrageous car rental prices, it was no brainer to hire ChaperoneVIP, you are truly treated to VIP excursions, everything is taken cared of for reservations to lunch and dinner, stories of Irelands history and music fill the warm van as you take in the gorgeous views of the countryside. Never could do this on our own, prices very reasonable, already planning our next trip with Eamonn. Highly recommended!!

We have two kids— a teen and an 8 year old and it’s always a priority for us that they have a chance to learn about the people, history and culture of our destination. Eamonn exceeded our expectations and made his half day tour special and memorable. We learned about Irish history, learned some Gaelic, sang some songs, and got to see some amazing sites! The sheep dog demo took place at Michael’s farm and we got to meet Maggie, a brilliant dog who moved the sheep over our way! Michael himself was also a highlight as he patiently explained how it all worked! The entire experience felt genuine and we will undoubtedly remember some standout moments from the tour and also what we learned from Eamonn. I highly recommend this if you have kids and want to make the most of your trip! I’ll be recommending Eamonn to friends.

Do it don't think just book you won't regret it. We got to hold puppies and have a sheepdog herding demo and learn so much about the training. The views of Wicklow were incredible! We stopped at pubs and learned history and topped it all off with drinks at a bar with live music where the performers were fantastic and the people were amazing!

We spent several days with Eamonn and they were the best days that we had in Ireland. We are a family of 5 with children ages 9 to 15. Eamonn went above and beyond to insure that the days were fun and entertaining while providing vast knowledge on Irish history and culture. Eamonn made our stay in Ireland memorable and authentic giving us a real taste of Irish culture. I highly recommend booking with Eamonn!

This was comfortable and Eammon is full of knowledge and experience. we saw some great countryside and a sheep farm with border collies at work. A truly perfect experience. Michael and his dogs/sheep were amazing and it was a perfect day and trip to end our Irish experience. could not have done this without our amazing Eammon.

Eamonn provided the perfect day in the countryside outside of Dublin. While relatively close to the city, the trip took allowed us to see a totally different side of Ireland. Mountains, stunning vistas (even in the rain that day), cascading streams and waterfalls. And that’s just one part of the trip. The private whiskey tour and tasting was very cool and most of our group does not really drink whiskey. Did I mention sheep. Lots of sheep., lots of lambs. All over the pastures. This culminated with an afternoon visit to a working farm and the sheep dog demo. The demonstration was jaw dropping. We lhave seen “dog demonstrations” before this one topped all of them. The ability to be standing with the owner/ farmer as he worked the dogs and they worked the sheep made it even better. The only negative for the day was that after two great days, we would be touring with Eamonn again the next day. Thanks again.

Just back from our family trip to Dublin and a couple of enjoyable days with Eamon. With many things on our to-do list, we contacted Eamon prior to departure. From our first messages, it became clear that Eamon is your man. He took on board all our ideas and wishes and turned them into an amazing tailor-made trip full of personal highlights that far exceeded our expectations. The title tour guide does not do Eamon justice. Besides his insider knowledge of all the good places to go and being a pro in Irish history, Eamon is a warm, welcoming, generous host and just downright good company. Instead of clients, we were welcomed and treated like old friends. We are already looking forward to our next trip!
