We had a great time and our guide Ms. Tiziana made our experience wonderful. Her knowledge has no limit and her ability to express herself in English was astonishing.

The Ducal Palace was spectacular. There were many rooms to see. All of them interesting, artistic, historical, fascinating, richly detailed and generally well worth the time and effort.

The Ducal Palace is vast and it was well worth having a guide as knowledgeable as Tiziana. She was excellent, explaining about the Gonzaga dynasty and the life of those in the palace. Highly recommended and extremely good value for money!

We were lucky enough to spend a whole day with Tiziana..kind, knowledgable and passionate about art and beautiful Italy. Mantova is a hidden gem...off the beaten track which is a surprise because it has spectacular art work and food. With two teenage boys in tow Tiziana navigated us through hundreds of years of history and art. To be honest the day was the highlight of our trip to Italy...we would not gave enjoyed it anywhere near as much if we had not had Tiziana to contextualize the history and the art. She also is a guide for a number of other cities....Bologna is just one...wish we had had her there too!

We booked a Walking tour to have a good overview of Mantova: the city center, the palazzo ducale and the palazzo Té. There were tow of us (Mom and 20 year old daughter) Tiziana spent the whole day with us. She was extremely knowledgeable about he history of Mantova and it's artistic heritage. We learned a lot and enjoyed the city much more thanks to her explanations. She also gave us good tips on where to eat and what to do during the continuation of our trip. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend booking a tour with her to make the most of your visit.

Tiziana is a wonderful guide with an in-depth knowledge of what makes Mantua the wonderful city it is. She guided me and my family throughout the centre and around the Palazzo Ducale (including La Camera Degli Sposi by Mantegna) and made the trip one to remember. We had multiple languages spoken in our group (English and Italian) and she was great at making sure that everyone understood and was able to follow. Booking a tour with her was a very easy and straightforward process and she was very quick and thorough in replying to my emails. We are planning to go back to Italy next year and will be in touch with Tiziana to walk us through Verona and Bologna. Can't wait!

Tiziana guided me and my wife through Palazzo del Te in Mantova. She is extremely knowledgeable and polite, always ready to clarify and answer questions/doubts you may have. We really enjoyed the time spent in her presence and would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Mantova or other cities in north Italy.

The tour was exceptional due to the expertise and consideration of the professional, personal guide, Tiziana Portioli. If considering this tour, ask for her. She is worth every Euro/Dollar. Prepare to walk and I would suggest purchasing a guide of the Residence from Amazon and read it before the tour. It will assist your understanding and appreciation of the magnificent frescos.
