After the Colosseum, you will see the archaeological site of the Roman Forum which was the commercial, legal and administrative center of ancient Rome. Admiring this place, you will literally feel as if you have been taken back in time during the imperial age of Rome

The imposing Basilica of Maxentius and the majestic arch of Titus will introduce the panoramic hill of the Palatine, where the emperors lived. It is the oldest part of Rome, where Romulus founded the "Piazza Roma", destined to become the largest empire in the world. Augustus, Tiberius, Maxentius and many others decided to build their palaces here, between the remains of the walls of Romulus and the huts dating back to 4,000 years ago. Its panoramic position still offers splendid views over the Eternal City! Only the view of the Circus Maximus from the Palatine Hill are worth the entire tour!

Located between the Aventine and the Palatine Hill, you can admire the Circus Maximus, the largest stadium in ancient Rome with a capacity of 300,000 spectators dedicated to chariot racing.

With your driver, you will pass in front of the Bocca della Verità which is located under the portico of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. According to legend, if you tell a lie while your hand is in its mouth, your face will be bitten. Careful!!

It is the turn of the Aventine Hill. This elegant residential area is an oasis of gardens and churches, with the most divine view of the Tiber. A curious keyhole offers the strange experience of looking at a miniature version of St. Peter's Dome.

After the Aventine, you can admire Piazza del Popolo, an elegant space in the northern quarters of the ancient city with the particularity of its twin churches, the oldest original Egyptian obelisk in Rome at its center and the magnificent Valadier fountains. Behind the facade of Santa Maria del Popolo, you will find incredible masterpieces.

No trip to Rome is complete without visiting Piazza Navona, one of the largest squares in the city. The square is incredibly popular with tourists for one main reason: Bernini's "Fountain of the Four Rivers". Built to represent the Nile, the Ganges, the Danube and the Rio de la Plata, the structure now stands amidst the artists arriving to sell their works.

Then, together with your driver, you will continue to Piazza di Spagna, one of the major tourist spots in the city. While standing, you can admire the Trinità dei Monti Church which sits atop a famous stairwell with the Della Barcaccia Fountain at its foot.

Hidden in the narrow alleys of the city, the Trevi Fountain is a secret masterpiece and perhaps the most spectacular fountain in Rome. Built at the end of one of the famous aqueducts that supplied the Roman Empire with water, this iconic setting draws many visitors, if only to toss a coin into its waters to ensure their safe return to Rome in the future.

Next on the list is the wonderful Castel Sant'Angelo. Built in the 1st century, it was the mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian which now serves as a museum.

After Castel Sant’Angelo, you will continue towards the enchanting St. Peter's Square, located in the Vatican City in front of the famous St. Peter's Basilica. The most iconic photos of this impressive monument are always captured at night. In the heart of the square, there is an ancient Egyptian obelisk, built in 1586. The square took its final shape almost 100 years later thanks to Gian Lorenzo Bernini who introduced the Tuscan colonnades that now frame the surroundings.

Finally, you will climb the second highest hill in all of Rome, the Janiculum, and from this place you will admire a sparkling skyline. Sitting at the western end of the city, there are few better vantage points from which to savor the sight of the domed buildings and beautiful bell towers of Rome. Tourist attractions visible from the Janiculum include the church of San Pietro - said to be the site of the crucifixion of San Pietro - as well as a small sanctuary known as the Tempietto, otherwise understood as the place of Peter's death.
