The captain and mate were very experienced ship handlers getting us up close and even just inside some of the coastal grottos only accessible by sea for some good photos. The trip had 2 swim stops at private beaches but other tour boats did arrive at the 2nd stop as we were leaving so it is a popular swim stop. The crew allowed us a quick 3rd swim stop to get photos at a grotto which was the highlight of the trip. We gave them 4 stars because the tour speaking part of the trip was very challenging. The tour said it was in English but the captain spoke no English and the mate only spoke a little. There were both Italian and English people on board and the Italian speakers received a much more full conversation about the tour points and could ask questions while we received short information that was difficult to understand for half our party and the mate could not understand our questions.

This was a tour of the Costa Viola, however as we were the only English people, the rest being Italian, all the information was in Italian. Being able to understand some Italian, I passed on what I could gather to my husband and son, which was basically all about fishing and specifically for swordfish, including quotas, and the areas that the Sicilians were allowed compared with the Calabrians. At one point the boat was stopped for half an hour whilst the Italians discussed swordfish, their price per kilo, fishing for them,etc. It was also paused at one point to watch teenage boys attempt to jump off some perilous rocks by Scilla castle. We could easily have been witnesses to an awful accident. Twice the boat had to be started with a screwdriver in the engine, which greatly concerned my engineering student son who was right by the action! My husband said it was the worst boat trip he had ever been on.

Great way to explore the beautiful Viola Coast. Very entertaining and kind crew. Genuine fruits and fresh drinks served on board. Several stops to swim in the clean sea water. This tour is a must for a perfect afternoon.

Excellent tour with great guides - very welcoming, entertaining and experienced. Drinks and local fresh fruit were very much appreciated. The surroundings are fantastic, and the guides made sure that we visited the most beautiful sights.

Ho voluto prenotare questa escursione in barca per poter vedere le bellezze della zona e poter rilassarmi con degli amici. Da annuncio (a dir poco forviante) l’itinerario doveva portarci da Favazzina sino alla quarta tappa in provincia di Agrigento ma così non è stato. In aggiunta all’annuncio che parla di baggianate , c’era un aperitivo con vino e prodotti tipici calabresi che probabilmente avranno visto i pesci e certamente non noi. L’unica cosa che ci è stata data è stata un bicchierino di spumante e ovviamente senza altro. Nessuna spiegazione mi è stata data neanche quando l’ho chiesta perchè “qui si fa così “. Mi dispiace che si possa lavorare in questa maniera pessima pur avendo avuto un servizio scarso abbiamo decisamente pagato troppo. Ho portato con me ben 8 persone e siamo stati trattati male tanto da non darci il servizio per cui noi abbiamo pagato. Sconsiglio vivamente di scegliere loro visto la vasta gamma di aziende che in loco (ahimè scoperto troppo tardi) fanno lo stesso servizio

ho prenotato questa escursione una settimana prima, il pacchetto includeva un giro completo della costa di scilla, con 4 fermate tra cui bagnara, grotticelle ecc, ed inoltre aperitivo (vini e salumi tipici calabresi). Tutto questo a 35 euro a persona, tutto sommato onesto , ma una volta a bordo l’escursione è stata una tragedia. la barca si è guastata per tre volte facendoci perdere molto tempo, mentre della programmazione non è stato rispettato nulla. Sostanzialmente abbiamo accompagnato un gruppetto di 3 persone da scilla a torre faro (Messina). Scesi a terra dei 13 passeggeri l’unico a lamentarsi al botteghino sono stato io( anche se tutti erano Delusi) dove ho parlato con il proprietario che per telefono non è stato affatto disponibile a trovare una soluzione a quello che era successo. ESPERIENZA SCONSIGLIATISSIMA!

Le excursión estuvo bastante bien, pero supuestamente era con "aperitivo de productos típicos y vino de Calabria". Se lo dijimos al chico que lo organizaba y ellos no tenían preparado nada de aperitivo, salieron del paso con una bolsa de patatas fritas para 14 personas y cervezas de Lidl... Lo más lógico en este caso, habría sido hacernos un descuento, visto que no podían cumplir con el servicio contratado... Una desilusión.
