The cook was great and knowledgeable. The experience was not worth the money, we prepared for half an hour, making two types of pasta but we didn't get to cook any sauces like it was stated in the description or cook the pasta itself. After the preparation we were told to sit outside. We did get an entree and a dessert but it was also not included in the cooking process. Additionally the stated time was 5 pm but only after an inquiry about the location (because it wasn't in the description) we were told (on the same day, hours before the event) that the booking time has been altered (6:30 pm)

My friend and I were really looking foward to this glutenfree cooking class in Rome. However, communication prior to the event was poor and contact numbers provided were out of service. The event was also cancelled last minute.

We had a great experience learning to make pasta in an authentic Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Rome. Our guide spoke great English and showed a genuine interest in where we were from (Aus). We made gnocchi and fettuccine (we got to choose) and learnt some tricks of the trade. The food was up there with the best meals we’ve had on our trip around Europe so far. We had bruschetta and dessert (gelato and crème brûlée) in addition to the food we made.

Communicating with this tour provider was very frustrating!! Class was non-refundable and we couldn’t make the new time tour provider wanted to change to. $550 loss for me.

We had a great time learning how to make gluten-free fettuccine and gnocchi by hand. The pasta was delicious and I couldn't even tell that it was gluten-free. We had some great wine while we made the dough as well. Christian was a wonderful teacher and told us a lot of great stories about his experiences in the restaurant business. He was also very accommodating to us after the tour company messed up the time.

This class on GF cooking was the best part of our trip to Roma. It was easy because of our coordinator. She made the experience from a 4 star to a 5 star event. The restaurant was wonderful and everyone was so friendly. The owner of the restaurant even walked us to the bus stop and rode with us. A great event that we will remember.

The cook we had couldn't speak english which was frustrating she could understand though. It was at someones house which was a bit weird and the length of travel on train was a bit far from the main city location especially when we had to find our own way back.
