This boat tour was by far the highlight excursion of our trip, we got engaged the night before and when we spend the day on our boat it felt like we were so catered to. Everything about this day was perfect, Gianfranco was SPECULAR! Wanted to take him home with us. When we come back we will absolutely book again.

One of my other favorite days of the trip! This full day boat cruise of the Amalfi Coast was amazing and so fun! We did have a group of 12 people, but the group was great and the boat did not feel crowded at all. On the way out, you cruise slowly, close to the coast line, and the boat driver / tour guide filled us in on lots of the beautiful places up in the cliffs as we passed. We stopped a couple of times to swim, the boat had noodles to float with and googles for seeing all the fish, which was fun! There were plenty of snacks and drinks on board, and we even had a bottle of champagne! In Amalfi, you can spend one hour there and then go to a restaurant or stay in Amalfi for three hours. You don’t really have time to make it up to Ravello also in that time period, which was my original plan. But the buses getting up there are all packed and you would have to wait in line both ways so we decided not to risk that. So we spent an hour exploring Amalfi (which is really all you need), then went with most the group to the lunch place, which was fine but nothing special. The annoying part is they make you spend 2 hours at the restaurant before we headed back to pick up the rest of the group that stayed in Amalfi. N the way back we stopped one more time to swim then headed back to Positano at a faster pace than the way out.

This was the absolute highlight of our 1 week in the Amalfi Coast! It was truly magical to see the coast from the water. We got the opportunity to hop off the boat in Amalfi Town for lunch, shopping and some beach time. We also got to jump off the boat and go swimming as well. We had six other couples on the boat but it felt like there was more than enough space for everyone and really not a bad spot on the boat. We had the most lovely and memorable day. Highly suggest for your first day in the area to help you get oriented. You won't regret it!!

In my grumpy opinion, Blue Star Positano was the only thing that made Positano worth seeing. I HATE places that are over-run with tourists like me, so being able to see Positano from the water (away from other tourists like me) was wonderful. There's a reason that so many stupid tourists like me come to the Amalfi Coast, and that's because the views, the experience, the everything are world-class. Even better, they stop for snorkelling, which was a surprise highlight of the trip - the water is crystal clear, and fish are everywhere, just inches from your face. Something to note, though: Their group day-tour to Amalfi is advertised as having time to go up to Ravello, where the million-dollar panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast are. The reality, though, is that your only chance of doing that in time is to take a shuttle that runs back and forth between Amalfi and Ravello (not through BlueStar; cash only). Our captain even said there was no way we'd have time. Fortunately he was wrong; we had plenty of time. Just take the shuttle; NOT the public buses. If you're on the group tour as I was, when you get to Amalfi, they give you a choice: They can drop you off in Amalfi, or they can take you to a private restaurant to eat, accessible only by boat. For some reason, no one else on our tour wanted to see Amalfi (the whole point of the tour in my opinion), so I felt like my family and I were inconveniencing everyone that they had to come back and pick us up (which again, I thought was the whole point of the tour). Anyway, they provide a fantastic experience that delivers everything as advertised, with prompt communication from beginning to end. Just be prepared to be savvy getting your shuttle in Amalfi as you battle your way through the hordes of tourists (like me). And when they give you the choice of Ravello or the restaurant, pick Ravello. The restaurant is mostly just an Instagram check-in, and you deserve better than that.

Amazing day with awesome tour guides! We stopped to swim, take photos, and have lunch in Amalfi. SO happy we decided to do it :)

Great tour from Positano to Amalfi. Fantastic views with great captain and mate. Several swim stops and lunch after a 1 hour stop in Amalfi at the coastal restaurant Da Teresa.

Our favorite day trip from Positano. Our guide Fabio was awesome and made the day special. We stopped at Amalfi which was fun, had lunch at a great location chosen by Fabio, and went swimming at several great locations. We also did a Capri trip with another company the day prior and would recommend the Amalfi trip first if you are limited.

This tour was the highlight of our time in Positano! The guides were awesome, and getting to swim in two sea caves is an experience I’ll never forget. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

It was a great way to begin our vacation! We enjoyed swimming in the caves and viewing the coast from the boat.

Our tour was fabulous, 10/10. Nicola did a fantastic job navigating and took us to two places to swim, the emerald grotto (10€/person and honestly wasn’t worth it, 25 mins riding in a boat in circles in a small cave), Amalfi to explore for an hour, (You definitely don’t need more than an hour, it’s so packed and crowded, we got the lemon sorbet in an actual lemon and then got tiramisu to go at cafe Pansa which would definitely do again) and a lovely spot for lunch that’s only accessible by boat (the risotto and lobster linguini are chefs kiss). This is a beautiful boat and we met so many amazing friends! Would definitely recommend this to anyone on a trip in the Amalfi coast, it was definitely both of our favorite day on the trip! Not worth doing a private cruise when you have this as an incredible option.
