My experience immediately prior to entering the Uffizzi was terrible. I was on time and in the right place, but I could not find the group. I did not know we were meeting under the Giotto statue. After 20 min of running up and down and asking many other guides I finally found the group. The sign was sitting on the street at ankle level. When another person said ‘under the Giotto’ was on her voucher I was told by an organizer (not the guide) there are different messages on different ‘platforms’. It was hot, I was miserably uncomfortable, and very frustrated. The tour itself was ok … the beginning was ruined by my fear of not finding the group , losing my payment, and being so uncomfortable

We had a delayed start as there was no one from Italy Pass at the meeting spot until 15 minutes after the start time, but once we got moving it was very good. Fabrizio was an excellent and engaging guide and helped to make the magnitude of the Uffizi digestible and accessible. He had great insights and stories and kept our group very engaged. There were 7 of us which was the perfect size.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, passionate about the art and she ensured her group was always accounted for. I appreciate she made the effort to explain the nuances of the time periods and pointed out unique ways to observe the art. The Uffizi was crowded and she did her best to navigate through all the people. The last 45 minutes seemed rushed as we zipped from one area to another and at the end it felt more like trying to get through the tour script and zero time to ask questions. Raised my hand a few times and was ignored. I highly recommend a tour and our tour guide was informative, maybe slow down and engage with the group. We would have never known if she skipped part of the tour, I would have rather be engaged and acknowledged versus being talked to.

Our guide was great. She had great knowledge of art history which made us appreciate the visit all the more.

There is no crowd control and we left early. It was hard to enjoy with thousands of people pushing you. Our guide however was fabulous.

Alex was our tour guide, and she was able to navigate us through the crowds without losing anyone. She was amazing in giving an overview of the collection by hitting the significant pieces, the turning points, and by pointing out elements that we'd never have noticed alone. I would recommend her tour to anyone and everyone.

The tour was interesting and we saw some amazing works of art. The guide was knowledgeable but struggled to maintain enthusiasm and interaction with the group. Admittedly, the Uffizi is extremely busy and it is difficult manoeuvring between the crowds and artwork. The guide’s strong accent did make it difficult to understand at times and it was an effort concentrating in the noisy atmosphere. That said, it was worthwhile having a knowledgeable guide to lead you to the most important pieces in the gallery. Without this, you would soon be overwhelmed as the gallery is huge with an extraordinary number of previous artworks.

Our tour was good. Informative and not too long, but from someone who has been to the Uffizi Gallery before the guide seemed to put too much info into the time we had. Our guide was lovely though. Very kind. My only fault with this tour was that I booked these tours months before our trip and was called the day before this tour that the 8:30 had been cancelled. She moved us to 3:30 that day, but I had to cancel a different tour to make this tour happen. Nothing huge, but it did mess with our itinerary and I plan ahead so that doesn’t happen. 9/10

The tour guide we had didn’t wait for any of us. She would go to another room and we would have to guess where she is. She would stand in front of the paintings and do a monologue not interacting with us. Another family travelled with us and we were both constantly trying to keep up with the tour guide.

This was a museum full of amazing art. The guide was unfortunately impersonal, hard to understand and monotonous and threw random pieces of info about the art on the walls without making any effort to give any background. Group was too big about 20ppl. Not sure how that’s a semi private tour.
