After the big ferry ride over to the island, we took the boat ride around the island as the grotto was closed due to rough water. It was a very nice ride and we got to see other grottos and all the island we would not have seen otherwise. Luca kept us on schedule and was great about walking us about, showing us the areas of AnaCapri and Capri, making recommendations and allowing us time to explore on our own. Be sure to take the chair lift up to the top of Monte Solaro; it is so worth it! It was a great day in spite of a bit of rain.

The trip to Capri was absolutely breathtaking. Luigi our tour guide was over-the-top, super friendly and knowledgeable, and made our experience even that much better. The whole island was amazing and I would definitely recommend this trip… the only downfall was the Blue Grotto was closed, but that just means we have to come back and do it again. I was dreading the trip around the island in the boat, but that was one of the highlights of the trip. The captain was amazing and got so close to sure we could almost touch the island. We did at least get to see the main entrance to the blue Lagoon.

Was looking forward to visiting Capri for years however found it to be over rated and touristy. Annacapri lift ride to the top was the only enjoyable thing. You are basically hearded onto the ferry then a bus and back. Not much free time. Recommend do it on your own.
