Well organised, and a very helpful coordinator Francesco. Really comfortable journey with a bit of breakfast on the train . Our guide in Pompeii Felicia D, was really good and explained many aspects of the archaeological park that weren’t obvious just by looking. In the afternoon we did some wind tasting at a local vineyard and had a nice group lunch. Meeting some interesting people mainly from the USA. Felicia made sure we got on the right train back to Rome. The only tip I have is that the meeting place was hard to find, the cafe sign was very small and when we asked for directions no one knew where it was. All In all this was a really good trip put together by Italia Tours.

This was definitely one of my favorite places to go I Italy. Our tour guide was awesome and we had a great time. The only thing I would say is I wish we had more time to explore in Pompeii but other than that it was amazing.

As a solo traveller , I am glad that I joined it! Including me, there were 5 people in the group. Our guide Valentina took good care of us and she told us the history of Pompei, stories of Naples and a lot of information of local food and culture. She managed time well, making sure we could experience and see the most in limited time. In one day, we were able to visit both touristy and local unique spots, also we enjoyed great pizza together! I believe this would be hard to do all this on my own.

We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He showed up on time, was kind, caring, personable, knowledgeable and showed us a lot of great places in napoli. Including an introduction to deep fried Mac and cheese and amazing €5.00 pizza. He provided a bunch of interesting facts and really tailored the tour to what the 6 of us wanted to see and even gave us time to shop for souvenirs and snacks/drinks. In the end, he offered to show us the castle by the Marina and accompanied us in the metro back to the train station. Overall a great tour. Unfortunately we didn’t feel we had enough time in Pompei but that just means we have to come back!

My husband and I took the Pompeii and Naples Tour from Rome. The Pompeii was visit was very interesting, and you are given free time to roam on your own. Then our tour guide took us around Naples and gave us so much information about the city. He also took us to an incredible restaurant that served the best pizza and we tried a few appetizers that are local. We had a really great time and the group was small so that made it nice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone... wear comfortable shoes. There is a ton of walking and the terrain at Pompeii is rough.

Eduardo our Tour Leader was very personable and knowledgeable. During our train ride gave us a very informed overview of Italian history and Pompeii. We later went to Naples where he showed us various points of interest along with some free time shopping. I highly recommend when booking this tour to request Eduardo, you will not be disappointed. Thank You Ed and Renata Szymczak

My husband and I took the day tour from Rome to Naples and Pompeii. This tour allows you to tour Pompeii on your own or an option for a guided tour. The tour guild handles all transportation from the train station from Rome to Naples to Pompeii and back to Rome. The tour guide also takes the small group on a very informative and fun walking tour through the heart of Naples and exposes you to the local cuisine and shops. We had a wonderful time and it was something we would not have done by ourselves. I highly recommend this tour. There is a lot of walking and not easy walking. Come prepared.

Our tour guide Eduardo was great. We thoroughly enjoyed Pompeii and the local guide Guido. I was disappointed that we had to pay an extra $30 Euro for the local guide after spending so much on the tour itself. The train to Pompeii was fantastic. The downside was the trip to Naples. The city is filthy and the time spent there was a waste for myself and my daughter. We were relieved to get away from the dirty streets and mopeds and cars that were nearly taking us out at every turn. We spent too much time in Naples. We won’t return there. I would rather have spent more time at Pompeii and then returned to Rome.

Great tour to these two destinations via fast train. A short commute which is great. Pompeii amazing which we had more time however you can spend an entire day there and you won’t see it all since the city is large. Naples was fun, especially eating at the Antics d Michele for pizza. Gabriella our guide was fantastic, sweet young lady full of information about Pompeii and Naples. Thank you Gabriella for making our tour a blast!

We went around city of Napoli on foot, saw a lot of things, went through many small alleys (best way to explore the city is by foot I reckon). Pompeii is great. Our guide is Alessandro. There were only 4 of us in the tour, small and personalized - the other 2 were these very nice young Canadian couple
