I really liked this trip! As a wonderful bonus, our driver threw in a little stop at Soave, a charming little village which was a short stop along the way to Valpolicella, and then we went to Verona. Our guide Simone was very accommodating and nice and a good driver! The only reason I would not give this trip five stars is because it is more of an introductory-level wine tasting to familiarize people with Amarone, more than for serious wine connoisseurs. I would liken it to going to Peju or Cakebread in Napa instead of Opus One or Grgich, if that makes sense. Good, but not premium. The tour was very punctual and you must be on time in the morning. We waiting for 10 minutes for a couple that didn't show and then left, so be on time! There were four of us in total who booked and showed up so you will be mixed with other couples but I think the maximum group size would be 7 or 8.

Enjoyed the day tour from Venice. Verona is almost as crowded but was a pretty city with good sites and lots of shopping potential. We also stopped in Soave which was a lovely village and a surprising stop. The tour of Valpolicella winery was superb. The local tour guide was very informative and she spoke clearly and with great passion and knowledge. Wines of course were lovely. The driver had a clean and comfortable vehicle for the five of us. He tended to speak only to the front passengers but was always pleasant and answered out questions. I would recommend this tour.

Valpolicella was great as well as the town of Verona. Juliette's house not worth the visit. The arena was amazing. Tour guide was really nice.

Our driver Stefano met us on time.... we were expecting others to join, but soon found out it would be just us two. Therefore, rather than the expected van, our transportation was a small car. Stefano, our driver, was the highlight of the day; he was terrific......very educational and informative. The day consisted of only one winery/tour.....the rest of the time we were dropped off in the town of Verona; to visit on our own for 3 hours. We thought there would have been 2 wineries to visit. Our only wine tour was at Masi; our young guide Stefano (different from our driver) was pleasant and informative. When it came time to taste, we were led to a courtyard where only 3 varieties of Masi wine were already pre poured. Stefano pointed them out, then left us on our own..... never to be seen again. No cheeses, nuts or meats to heighten the wines. No additional wines to taste, no additional pours. Very disappointing. We got up on or own and walked out. At the beginning of the tour I had planned to purchase/ship some wine, but did not. For the price of $370 US, this tour was way overpriced.

Everything about this day trip was excellent! Especially our tour guide, Simone!! He was not only knowledgeable but highly entertaining and friendly! He was very gracious and patient when our tour group was a little behind schedule due to wandering and enjoying the scenery a little too long at Soave! It was such a nice place to stop along the way to the winery. He also made another stop along the way for us to get a view and walk along Lake Garda. It was so beautiful! The winery tour and tasting was a new experience for me-I loved it! Verona was interesting and the coliseum was amazing! My sister and I were staying in Venice for the week, and I am so thankful that we booked this tour! It was high on our list of "favorites" for the week!

Our wine tasting trip to Masi Winery and the trip to Verona from Venice was enchanting and surprising. We ended up having a private tour because no one else booked the tour. Our guide took us to Soave first and we climbed to the top of a medieval castle. Then we went to Lake Garda briefly and then to the winery for the tour and tasting. Then our guide took us to downtown Verona and dropped us off for two hours and we had lunch at a restaurant he recommended that was fabulous. I would highly recommend this tour.

We met our tour guide, Stefano and realized that this would be a private tour although we expected to be in a mini van with other guests. Stefano was incredibly knowledgeable about Venice and the Valpolicella area. He stopped in Soave and encouraged us to climb to the top of an old castle, then we stopped at Lake Garda and then went to the Masi winery. He then took us into downtown Verona and suggested a wonderful restaurant - Torcola. I highly recommend this tour as a way of getting to know other areas outside of Venice and Verona.

A great wine tour - be sure to ask for extra samples; including prosecco. When in Verona have a lovely lunch but be sure to take in as much as possible before you must leave.

this was a wonderful trip, simone couldn`t have been better. he and my wife were speaking italian and his english was excellent. he explained everything to us while he was driving , the scenery and local color. the masi winery was beautiful and the wine was great, i think we bought 6 bottles. verona was originally a roman city which i didn`t realize, they have beautiful old houses and a castle, you could spend a full day here.great trip

My daughter and I booked this tour the night before, we were up early and were at the meeting point 10 minutes early. We stood around for a half hour thinking our guide must be late - tried calling but they weren't open until 9AM. We were in the correct departing point, found no-one from the tour - when we finally got in touch with the office 45 minutes later, they said the tour had departed without us and we could not get a refund as we didn't cancel 24 hours earlier. We booked it 10 hours before!!!! They had our information and could have called or emailed to see where we were, but there was absolutely no communication to us. Horrible, terrible customer service. We now will have to work with our credit card company to dispute the charges. DO NOT use this tour company. Very disappointing.
