What an incredible day at sea with Captain Mike and his first mate Noel! Everything from our introduction to our farewell was like going sailing with lifelong friends. Croissants to start the morning, cold beverages during the trip and a wonderful light lunch. Mike and Noel kept us informed on the surroundings and the local history. The wind didn't always cooperate but had no impact on our trip. Where we anchored for lunch was an amazing area along the coast. This was the end of our vacation and the perfect way to end it. Glad we didn't do this first on our trip or expectations for other excursions would've had the bar set very, very high! Wishing Captain Mike the best on his upcoming surgery and first mate Noel on his new home construction! Was a true pleasure talking with you both about everything from scuba diving to making olive oil. :)

Mike is amazing! We had the most memorable day out at sea. He was super flexible and let us pick what we wanted to do. The aperol spritz were so good and the lunch was our favorite lunch we had our whole trip. We will definitely be back!

This sailing day was the highlight of our Italian vacation. Captain Mike was a pleasure to sail with and took us to many beautiful locations. The food was also great. I would recommend this trip to anyone considering visiting this area of Italy.

Perfect sailing day! We had a great day sailing with Capt. Mike with our family of 6 (adult children). Mike is friendly and laid back, and a native english speaker so it was easy to converse and hear his story. He is truly living the dream - and we lived vicariously today! The day started with an easy meet up at the train station followed by pastries on the boat. We drove the boat to a quiet inlet for a swim - which was refreshing despite the swells. After swimming we were under sail back to calmer waters in the Sestri Lavante Bay of Silence - it was a gorgeous setting for a relaxing lunch of cold cuts, fruit and focaccia- and generous amounts of aperol spritz! After another quick swim we headed back to Lavagne and caught sight of a pod of dolphins to complete the perfect sailing day trifecta (under sail, clean plates, and dolphins!). It was a beautiful day and we loved experiencing this incredible coastline from the perspective of the water. Mike was a gracious host and we look forward to sailing with him again when we revisit the area. Don’t miss your chance to experience a once in a lifetime sail!

Caio! We had the very best day with Captain Mike! My husband and I are on a trip for our 25th anniversary. Sailing is a passion of my husband’s and we spent the day with Captain Mike! The boat was beautiful, service was incredible, lunch was perfecto!!! We loved the visit and the sailing was amazing!! Grazie for a wonderful memory!

Our day with Michael on his boat was absolutely fantastic. He’s such an amazing host (pastries in the morning, lunch, and fresh fruit). He had such great insight in the area and we loved hearing his story! The water was so perfect and he even let us take the wheel for a little on the way back. Such a once in a lifetime experience.
