Visited Su Nuraxi di Barumini and the nearby Casa Zapata Museum. Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the information about the Bronze Age Nuragic Civilization was fascinating, as was the engineering involved in the tower construction.

No idea what this Nuraghi site would be or would contain....So it was a pleasant surprise and an eye opener. Should get to be known better outside of Sardinia ! And then, there were a few extra's in the tour. A very rewarding experience.

Everything about this tour was excellent. The Nuraghe Su Barumi site is far more extensive than I expected and the tour takes you down into the big tower. There are a few stone steps. My guide Paola was wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable about the site but also very friendly and easy to talk to. She answered all my questions about the site and about Sardinia in general. I highly recommend her tour.

My guide Paola immediately felt like a friend! She was very helpful with my requests for information about giants for my next book! She shared historical facts — as well as legends! Well worth the money—Wonderful!! Paola is a caring & considerate guide—knowledgeable & fun!

Paola was fantastic! We could not have been happier. She was friendly, easy-going, and full of information. Su Nuraxi was, of course, the highlight of the day and it was so much more than we had expected. So interesting, beautiful, and impressive and Paola made it come to life. Having a private tour with Paola was absolutely the right choice. We learned so much about Sardinia along the way and it was like a conversation with a friend. She took great care of us and made the day a highlight of our time in Sardinia. Grazie Mille! You should absolutely take this tour.

The guide made this trip a wonderful experience. She has a thorough knowledge of the Barumini history. She was very generous with her time and made a special trip to a place where I was able to but a t-shirt with the Sardinian flag! We also made a side trip to a town with dozens of wall murals. It was a great day.

Nuragic art and architecture are amazing, and a visit to at least one nuraghe while in Sardinia is not to be missed. Let Paola be your guide! She's friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and kind. I had a wonderful morning learning about the island with her, and discovering the marvels of the Sardinian Bronze Age. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Paola! You will learn and have fun!
