Your Itinerary

Piazza Dante

The beginning of this itinerary is in Piazza Dante, one of the most important in the city. The curiosity about this square concerns the clock: the equation of time is the protagonist in the center of the exedra, wanted by Charles III of Bourbon, who wanted to know not only the time schedule, but also the exact solar time: the upper dial of the clock, in fact, marks the time as we know it; while the lower one presents an equation that explains the solar time.

Rione Sanita

Let's discover the Neapolitan street art that has brought the most popular and authentic neighborhoods to a contemporary splendour. Rione Sanità hosts the mural of Totò in which the famous coffee scene between Totò and Peppino De Filippo in the film "La banda degli onesti" is represented.

Murales Maradona 1990

The second mural is in the heart of the Spanish Quarters and portrays Maradona. The Pibe de oro for the Neapolitans was something/someone to literally believe in, capable of offering the city a social revenge, identified in the 'ball' that children continue to chase through the alleys of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. One of the places that has become a secular pilgrimage destination.

Piazza del Plebiscito

We arrive in the most representative square of the city: Piazza del Plebiscito. Undisputed symbol of Naples, it houses the history of the dynasties that have followed one another. One of the curiosities, linked to a legend, is also and above all a challenge that everyone can accept and try to overcome: crossing the square blindfolded, passing between the two statues, starting from the Royal Palace. Lunch break Pizzeria Esterina (sorbillo) with drink

Lungomare Caracciolo

The Caracciolo seafront is one of the most evocative walks, 4 km with the gardens of the municipal villa built in the 18th century behind it, the bay of Naples with Capri in front, Posillipo on the right, and Castel dell'Ovo on the left, framing a masterpiece of nature.

Borgo Marinari

Crossing the small bridge that leads to Castel dell'Ovo and leaving the sailing club on the left, you suddenly enter a world of its own that seems to have come out of Alinari's old photos from the 1800s. Everything is special here, it is a citadel full of bars, restaurants, pizzerias and hookahs where everything is wrapped in a special atmosphere, far from the frenetic pace of the city and where time seems to have stopped.

Castel dell'Ovo

The other symbolic image of Naples, suggestive like few others: a castle on the sea. It is said that Virgil hid an egg inside a cage in the basement of Castel Marino because "all the facti and fortune of the Castle hung from that egg

Rione Sanita

The tour ends with one of the best Neapolitan desserts: Fiocco di Neve di Poppella, a phenomenon (especially in a gastronomic sense) that goes far beyond the viral tam tam. It seems like a mystery, a super-secret recipe that Ciro "Poppella" Scognamillo keeps very close to.
