Your Itinerary

Certosa Di Firenze

Highly scenic and cultural experience. Starting from Porta Romana we will take public transportation to Galluzzo from where, with a short itinerary, we will reach the magnificent Certosa di Firenze, founded in the 14th century and located on the top of Monte Acuto. We will visit its interior for about an hour moving among the various buildings in the complex. Fun fact: The Certosa del Galluzzo when viewed from the outside does not really look like an abbey but rather resembles more an ancient feudal castle, towering on a rocky spur with the Palazzo degli Studi and the monks' cells, which together form a small ideal city.
