Francesco was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Herculaneum. We learned so much thank you. He was also very good at communicating about the meeting point in advance of our tour - we would thoroughly recommend him. Thank you

Our guide, Marco, has been the best out of all our guided tours we had here in Italy. I came to Italy because of the history, and if you are fascinated by Roman history like I am (especially the buried ancient sites around Mt Vesuvius) then his story-telling and knowledge about these ancient uncovered cities are exactly what you're looking for. I definitely recommend to take this guided tour company over all the other main ones I used that are listed as some of the most popular/best on TripAdvisor! Very much the best and a must for anyone looking to gain a wealth of knowledge and imagining the ancient Roman ruins. Thank you, Marco!

Excellent. Could not have been better. Vincenzo was full of enthusiasm but his knowledge was fantastic and he answered all our questions with extra detail on all subjects. Brilliant. Thanks.

Francesco was an excellent guide for my father and me. He is extremely knowledgeable about Herculaneum and provided invaluable information about the site and how it compares to Pompeii. He took the time to answer all of my questions. His tour did not feel rushed and he gave us ample time to take pictures and explore the location. Additionally, he was good-natured, friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. Next time I return to Italy, I hope to have another tour with him.

Really good guide Francesco who described the site and history very well. We would recommend this tour. Only 2 others joined our group of 3 making it very easy to get around.

Francesco was an exceptional tour guide for Herculaneum. It was absolutely worth every penny to have him explain all the sights to us. There is so much to see, and it’s amazingly well preserved. However, there are no signs explaining any of the buildings, so you really need someone knowledgeable (like Francesco) with you to get the most out of a visit. Our tour didn’t meet the minimum number of people, so Francesco contacted us several days beforehand to let us know and give us the option to have a private tour for a small additional cost. I’m very glad we took the option for a private tour!

Although I made an error in scheduling the wrong day, Francisco worked with me to accommodate my husband and I on our port day off our cruise. He conducted a private tour himself, providing great information about this impressive site. We felt we saw the entire park within the 2-hrs and had an understanding of what occurred here versus Pompeii. Francisco is fluent in English, easy to understand. He had great stories about daily life in Herculaneum. We felt the company went above and beyond despite my error. We give Francisco and his company, Pompeiify, our highest recommendation. You will not regret taking this tour. Do it!!
