Paola was an enthusiastic, informative, and welcoming guide for our first trip to Lucca. We really enjoyed our introduction to the city by walking through the walls and up onto the promenade. She played a big part of our wanting to return to Lucca.

It was just us and Roberto! Roberto was our guide and spoke very good English (and Spanish which we actually preferred and was able to have it in Spanish). He was very knowledgeable and always had information to share. It was a nice route and gave us a better appreciation of Lucca. Definitely recommend this tour!

It was all memorable and the Guide, Paola, was very informative, knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed very much the visit to St Martin's Cathedral and the link with the Pilgrimage Trail from Canterbury to Rome. The labyrinth stone etching and the ancient crucifix were very interesting associated with this.

What a pleasure to take a guided walking tour of Lucca with Valeria! Her knowledge of the town and its history was shared with enthusiasm and warmth. We truly understand now what makes this a special place: history, music, artisan crafts, and culinary delights.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable of Lucca. It is a beautiful town, with a rich history. Unfortunately it was raining, but we all made the most of our time.

Enjoyed spending time a few hours with Antonella. Very friendly and knowledgeable. A great introduction to the city of Lucca and understanding the important areas and get a sense of what Lucca is all about. Thank you.

Belinda had a fabulous knowledge of Lucca and, as a native Lucchese, gave us a great understanding of the rich history of this amazing walled town. Her knowledge of the many towers, churches and local businesses was great and will set us up for our week in Lucca.

Roberto was an excellent guide. Very informative and beautiful tour of Lucca! Would highly recommend, especially if you don’t have too much time.

Cheryl_R

Roberto was so engaging, English is excellent, the radios/ear pieces a necessity and his knowledge of the area supreme. When I come back next time, he will be the only guide I will want to use!
