The viewing point for lunch was out of this world… the mortella gardens were beautiful. It was a long walk from the port to the bus, which we were not aware of and one of the party had some mobility issues.

The gardens are spectacular, carefully maintained by the staff. The view is breathtaking. The time to visit is about two hours. We went in the morning around 10:30 and found few people and little heat; There is also a car park from which you can go down from point 20 to point 1 (in reverse). The bar halfway through the route is very suggestive: we had a juice, a glass of prosecco and a zingara sandwich and a slice of ricotta and pear cake... all excellent!! The plants and flowers present are wonderful and there is also the tree fern, one of the oldest plants in the world. I highly recommend having this experience, for those like me who hate insects I can guarantee that, although they are present, they are not particularly annoying.

Consigliato.
