After some free time for lunch your guide will meet you at a designated meeting point at the Vatican for the 2nd part of your tour. Visiting the Sistine Chapel is a must-do when in Vatican City. This private chapel of the pope is where cardinals gather to elect a new pope. To enter the Sistine Chapel, both men and women must cover their knees and shoulders, otherwise, the Vatican might refuse entry to religious sites and you’ll miss out on a portion of your tour. We understand the summers in Rome can be hot, so a great alternative is to bring a shawl/scarf/sweater with you. That way you can cover your knees and shoulders when necessary.

St. Peter's Basilica - (Except on Wednesdays!) The last stop of your tour brings you to St. Peter's Basilica.
