A definite must do for active adventurers when in the Cinque Terre. Picture riding through the roller coaster hills of Tuscany with views of the ocean, sun setting over the water, peekaboo glimpses of small towns, on a bicycle that you pedal but that gives you a huge boost especially on the uphill parts. If taking the train plan to arrive to Levanto plenty early. I timed it ‘right’ for 15 minutes early and I was 20 minutes late past meeting time. I was so stressed the entire train ride - so go early! Matteo actually met me on a Vespa and gave me a quick ride up as the other people on the tour understandably didn’t want further delay. I was so grateful but embarrassed that they had to wait for me. The bike was easy to ride and program. You are riding on curvy streets with vehicles so have to pay attention. FYI posted this same review on Airbnb through which I booked the tour.

Great view at the top of the mountains. We took the paved road all the way to the top and down. The ebikes do most of the work.

We really enjoyed our electric bike ride with Mateo and Alinka. The bikes were easy to manage and safety was top priority. Mateo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the Cinque Terre region and it’s history. The views of the sea, the countryside and the sunset, from the roads we travelled were amazing. Altogether, it was a very enjoyable part of our visit to Cinque Terre.

We did the ‘Sunset Tour’ on our last day in the CinqueTerre and it was one the highlights of our trip! Matteo was an awesome, informative, and encouraging guide. The ebikes made for a very easy ride and the scenery was spectacular. What a great way to get off the beaten and tourist saturated path and see the real Cinque Terre!

Es war eine fantastische Tour. Matteo, unser Guide nahm sich viel Zeit für uns und zeigte uns Orte und Plätze, die wir von allein nie gesehen hatten. Wir haben auch viel über die Geschichte der Region erfahren. Wir waren eine tolle Gruppe und haben den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen. Wir können nur dazu raten so eine E-Bike Tour zu unternehmen. We hebben de e-bike tour gedaan met onze zoon van 10 (151cm). Als je kinderen hebt die van avontuur houden en niet bang aangelegd, is het goed te doen. Eigenlijk juist super leuk om dit te ervaren met je kinderen! Je fietst van Levanto over de berg naar Monterosso al mare; een adembenemend kustplaatsjes (als je van het echte idyllische Italië houdt met het carpe diem leven). Je spreekt in het centrum van Levanto af en haalt dan de e-bikes op met je gids. Bij ons was er een vergissing met de datum van onze boeking maar na gebeld te hebben met het nummer in de reservering, werd het in orde gemaakt door Matteo! Een hele goede service! Dankzij deze bike tour zijn we verliefd geworden op Cinque Terre en komen zeker eens terug voor een vakantie daar! Na terugkomst hebben we overigens gegeten aan het gezellige pleintje van Levanto (eind van de straat waar je afspreekt) en een ijsje gehaald bij een ijssalon waar een dikke rij stond…betekent dus dat ze lekkere gelati hebben ;)

Per un addio al nubilato diverso dal solito abbiamo deciso di fare un giro in e-bike, e cosa c'è di meglio se a questo ci si aggiunge un favoloso tramonto e un buon aperitivo?! :) Il giro è stato bellissimo e Matteo la nostra guida è un ragazzo super simpatico che ha organizzato un tour veramente eccezionale, consigliatissimo!!
