This started poorly when we turned up at the allocated time and place, and an unmarked boat turned up late. We were told a representative would be waiting for us - instead we had to approach the boat driver who was not identifiable in any way - neither was the boat, to confirm this was the right bus. There was no signage or any other kind of welcome. It turns out this was a ferry to the main boat, which when we got to it, had the upper outside level full already, so we had limited seating. The ‘tour’ side of this is a tour guide talking in 4 languages. The English wasn’t very clear, but mainly we didn’t learn much due to the time it took to say the same thing in 4 languages. At the end of the ‘tour’ the tour guide had disappeared (got off at an earlier stop) and we were left without a ferry to take us back to where we started, as promised in the advertising - no explanation and people were just left to source their own transport. Very, very poor and an example of how tourists are treated with disdain and seen as cash cows in Venice.

Such a shame We booked this trip and one other hoping for a trip and tour. It’s quite a dissatisfying trip. From Punta sabbioni you have to travel to Venice prior to heading to murano. We were still sitting on board at 13.10 Meaning we didn’t arrive at murano till 13:40!!! Our actual tour didn’t start till near 2pm once all had left the boat. If you want to explore please don’t take this trip. Also applies to the Venice boat trip they host. You get less that one hour by the time you’ve disembarked. A waste of an evening.

Very nice boat ride from Venice to Murano and Burano! The guide was friendly and spoke in many different languages. The glass factory was interesting and had a really nice jewellery shop. Burano was amazing! We had plenty of time to explore the island. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the islands while in Venice.

We got picked up at the train station in front of KFC. There was no Guida and no one to tell you which boat to take. Once we were in a boat, it took us to a different location where we had to change boats to actually go to the islands. The journey itself is nice, but be aware that the drop off location is not the same one as the pick up one. Even though it says so, they only drop off point is at St Marco Sq.

The trip is good. Lasting roughly 4 hours, it’s a good excursion if you only have limited time in Venice. The tour guide lady is fantastic and funny. I would definitely recommend this trip in Spring when it’s warmer and not too hot. I did it on a Sunny but (very) cold winter day, so not good for roaming around. But aside from that, highly recommend!

We left with a motorboat, along the journey to the island of Murano, we had to take on board other passengers from another motorboat which had a breakdown, then once we arrived in Burano they left us free for about an hour and a half, then they took us on board on a vehicle that looked like a tractor, a lot of noise and it went very slowly, so much so that we had to arrive in Venice in half an hour, it took us an hour.
