Trevi Fountain, and the most famous and most spectacular fountain in Rome. Here the visitor, by throwing a coin, wishes to return to the Eternal City. (the municipality collects around 1.5 million euros a year). The fountain was completed in 1762 on the facade of Palazzo Poli. Built at the end of an aqueduct that supplied the Roman Empire with water.
