Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore

The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome is one of the four papal basilicas. Despite being the smallest in size, this does not mean that it does not have its charm like the other larger ones ...

Arcibasilica di San Giovanni in Laterano

Also called the Cathedral of Rome, and the first of the four papal basilicas and also the oldest and most important of the west .... Consecrated in 324 after Christ

Basilica Papale San Paolo Fuori le Mura

This too is one of the four papal basilicas and is the second largest after St. Peter's in the Vatican. Don't miss his visit during the tour.

St. Peter's Basilica

St. Peter's Basilica is officially the symbol of the Vatican State. It is also the largest papal basilica with its imposing San Pietro square which crowns it with its columns and statues.

Castel Sant'Angelo

Built between 130 and 139 AD. the Mausoleo Adriano is one of the few monuments on the bank of the Tiber river from the Vatican side. It is connected to the Vatican State through a fortified corridor modified several times over time.

Colle del Gianicolo

Although not part of the Seven Hills of ancient Rome, with its height of about 88 meters located on the bank of the Tiber River opposite the ancient city, it offers a breathtaking view of the Ancient City. At the top of this hill there is also the Garibaldi Monument, a statue inaugurated on September 20, 1895 for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the capture of Rome. Every day at midday, a cannon firing blanks indicates with a shot the exact time for all the churches in the surroundings so they can ring from the bell tower at the same time and not as the clock of each church indicated, creating only chaos. To visit this hill preferably at midday on the dot.
