An excellent, excellent tour!! Fulvia is knowledgeable and patient - and loves her country and heritage. We spent about 90 minutes in the Coliseum and 2 hours in the Forum and Palantine Hill. The views were AMAZING! Fulvia’s knowledge of the history is unmatched. This is the best guided tour my wife and I have ever been in!! We would give this tour 6 stars if we could. There is a lot of climbing on steep steps - some without handrails - not recommended for small children.

Just getting to see the Colosseum. I have been wanting to go to Italy for a while now. But COVID hit so I had to wait to make sure all was open if I made the trip.

A must, the guides knowledge and obvious love for his culture provided the best narration to the magnificent ancient sites. Navigation through the masses was invaluable.

It was not a skip-the-line experience. Our guide was very kind; however, she had a synopsis version of historical information on these sites.

The tour of the Colosseum. It was amazing and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. She explained everything at a good pace and we were able to take great pics.

The guides knowledge was immense... on all items relating to the colosseum, the forum, the patheon or anything else.

My tour is no longer listed online. It's title WAS " Skip the line: Colosseum and Ancient Rome Small-Group Walking Tour Including Pantheon and Piazza Navona" the key words are INCLUDING PANTHEON. We arrived at the meeting point early and found our guide. Only, our guide was not our guide because our actual guide had called in sick. Instead, an exec from Rome Your Way showed up. He informed us that our guide had called in sick and unfortunately he did not have a replacement. It happens, i understand this. He said we could still gain entrance to the colosseum but we were pretty much on our own because he was not a guide and would not be escorting us. He also said that for the trouble we would receive a partial discount. The tour we had purchased implicitly stated that the Parthenon was included. We opted to go in since 1. tickets at this point were already sold out and 2. we were already there. We opted to pay the extra $6 per person for the audio tour since our tour guide had bailed on us. But of the 4 iPods they gave us for the audio tour, only 2 worked. we walked around anyway, got our fill of the colosseum and then headed to the roman forum and Pantheon. When we got to the parthenon we were denied entrance. They said our ticket did not include it. I paid about $67 each for the tickets and i purchased 4 totaling $268.04. When i checked the print outs we were given for entry later that night, the listed ticket price was $18.60 and did not list the Pantheon. So basically we were charged double the price with the promise of the parthenon but did not get in. We purchased most of our tours in advance through viator and most have been great. Parthenon is sold out for the duration of our stay so going there is not an option this trip and it's unlikely we'll come back, this is a once in a lifetime trip. While i understand things happen, we really should've been refunded for the whole package because it truly messed up our day. We did right by planning ahead and purchasing tickets in advance and now we'll not be able to see one of the MAIN attractions we had planned. Rome your way has refunded 50% of the ticket price, however, I feel this is not enough. For 18.90 each we could've gone and walked around on our own. So what did we pay for? I feel a full refund is in order .
