Our guide was amazing! There is a lot of information. A lot of walking. (Wear good shoes). If you love archeology you will be in heaven. For those who are not that into it…it might be a bit too long of a tour.

What an amazing couple of hours spent touring the highlights of Rome. Our tour guide LUCA is one of a kind. Passionate, funny, knowledgeable, kind. His passion for the history of Rome was infectious as was his knowledge of the history of our language and the politics of the day. Truely an inspiring experience. When trying to be funny I noted that our great actor Russell Crowe (yes a kiwi we know) had made the Colosseum famous through the movie Gladiator, he pulled out his phone and showed us a picture. “Oh you mean my friend Russell” he quipped. Of course the great actor would have chosen LUCA when he returned to the site of that epic movie in 2022 to get a real sense of the drama and majesty of that place. Well done and thank you, for the enduring memories.

We toured with Alesia and she was excellent! Her background in archeology and her knowledge of Rome and the history were invaluable. We were on a private tour just the two of us experiencing the Colosseum in a sea of other tours, but she made us feel like we were the only ones there. Skip the line, getting us to the perfect vantage points all the while imparting all her knowledge and insights into the spectacular venue. She's an amazing guide and we can't recommend her highly enough!

Enza was very thoughtful and knowledgeable in our tour. She was very considerate to the different levels of walking ability we had in our group. Her knowledge on the Colosseum and the Forum was exceptional! We had a great time!

My wife and I wanted to do a small group experience at the colosseum. Our travel guide scheduled us with Roma Experience. Our tour guide was Elisa. She met us just outside the coliseum. It was a really small group, just my wife and I. I was so glad to get all that personal attention! Elisa has a degree is archeology. She worked in and around the colosseum as an excavator for a few years. She was very knowledgeable about the area. She explained the underground tunnels and how the animals were brought up to the staging area. She showed us on her iPad how things probably looked back in that era. We also toured Palestine Hill and the Roman Forum. It was a very informative tour. I highly recommend having a tour guide when coming to the Colosseum. There is so much to take in. I think Elisa is a great choice to guide you.

We had a great Colosseum and Forum tour with Andrea. He was was knowledgable and patient with all our questions. We had 2 teenagers with us - 17 and 15 - and he kept their interest too!

Vincenzo and the company managed to transform a challenging day into a well enjoyable experience. Rain & wheelchair for a tour in the Colosseum seems not the ideal to celebrate a day in Rome, but Vincenzo (guide) and team where able to adapt and drive us through a memorable day which ended being both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.

Our guide was excellent, well informed and efficient, got us in and through with no hassle. The small group was great. It gave us a very good picture of what life was like in ancient Rome. It was nice for the privileged, not so nice for the poor and slaves. The sheer size and construction of the Colosseum is mind boggling.

We had a fantastic private tour with Mary (Maria). Her historical knowledge of the area was amazing and she made Ancient Rome come alive for us with her explanations of daily life in and around the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. It was an experience we won't forget. Thank you Mary!
