Pompeii

I booked this tour online and I have been picked up on time at the meeting point. Our guide Fabiana was fantastic, knowledgeable, answered all the questions. I liked the jokes she made sometimes. Both tours were good organised, 2 hours at each location. I liked the information we have got. For lunch we had a great 3 course meal. Sometimes the touristic menus are not recommandable. I recommend Golden Tours to everybody.

Both sites are worth a visit we had a great day, the tour guide was excellent he explained everything as we went along showing things that you wouldn't notice on your own, the only downfall was the time I think it would be best to spend a whole day at pompeii and a couple more extra hours at herculaneum as there is lots to see.

This tour was great because it started with Pompeii to walk you through the structure and history. Followed by Herculaneum where the tour focused on culture and what life was like. Alex our tour guide was great. He was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. The lunch was delicious. It's hot though and not a ton of shade so be prepared.

From Pick-Up to Drop off it was easy. The tour was very well coordinated. Ernesto the Tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The audio devices allowed you to hear his explanation at all times while giving you the liberty to take pics. The lunch was a preset menu of pasta and marinara sauce which was nothing to rave about but ensured everyone ate and the tour was not delayed. It was also great to compare Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Great tour. Tony very informative and great communication when organising hotel pick up and drop off. Lunch provided - 3 course lovely. Trip a must see.

The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. It is a fairly long day, but with the lunch break between the two sites it’s very manageable. The ruins get very hot so keep that in mind. But very worth seeing both sites.
