Daniele was an outstanding guide who really made this tour exceptional. From our starting point under the carob tree at the Cultural Center, to our final stop for an olive oil tasting at a great charcuterie, we could not have asked for a better experience. Every stop was a delicious delight, and truly an authentic taste of Brindisi. Daniele made it a point to keep us comfortably in the shade much as possible on a hot day, and his running narrative beyond the food was interesting as we moved from stop to stop. I came ashore skeptical, and finished the tour really impressed, informed, and grateful for the experience.

Danielle engaged our group of 5 (1 mom age 77, 4 "kids" in their 50's) with so much humor and enthusiasm. We felt like we had a real window into his favorite things to do and places to go in his city of Brindisi. We got acquainted under a shady carob tree filled with pods and tasted first the raw and then the processed product. At the farmer's market we noshed on fresh fruit while hearing about agriculture in the region. Seeing a working 700 year old bread oven and meeting the baker was a highlight. Eating his fresh focaccia bread while sipping on local beverages was another treat. Who knew artichokes could make beer and spirits?! Wine and charcuterie finished the tour, but the most lasting impression was the fun and engaging Danielle himself. You'll love this tour!

We spent both - informative and pleasant, few hours in Brindisi with guide Fabrizio. He not only shared his knowledge, but also created friendly and warm atmosphere. Definitely would recommend the tour.

We spent an amazing few hours with our guide Daniele walking around the historic area in Brindisi. He had fantastic local knowledge of both the city’s history and food. We tried cheese, hams, pastries, seafood, local wine and ice cream - and felt very full by the end of the tour! This is a great tour to do at the beginning of your holiday and gave us ideas of places to return to. Friendly Daniele seemed to know everyone in Brindisi and the venues we visited, in particular the bakery were warm and welcoming and keen to show off their produce. Highly recommended, thanks Daniele!

The food tour with Fabrizio today was excellent, his passion for the local food is obvious, he seems to know everyone who lives in Brindisi and knows a lot about the history of the place. The food and drink was great, a very good way to spend a few hours in his company.

This was such a fun food tour of Brindisi! Daniele was entertaining and knowledgeable as he showed us historical sites and local food shops. Without this tour, we 100% would have missed so many great places during our short stay in Brindisi. (We went back to a few of these places the next day.) We had focaccia fresh out of the oven, fresh seafood (crudo and fried), local wine, cheese and meats, and dessert. And we got to talk to the people who made (and sold) the food. It was well worth it and a truly unique way to get to know a new city. I highly recommend this tour. If you're in town for a few days or even a few hours, I suggest checking this out. Be sure to come hungry though!
