What a joy to travel through Tuscany without having to worry about restricted ZTL areas or parking! Salvatore, our driver, was amazing. We had the pleasure of working with him for three days. He was always prompt, checked in with us on his way to the hotel in the morning and had the best restaurant recommendations. He even offered to bring the car back and meet us if we needed our jackets, umbrellas, or water before we were ready to leave the city and move on to the next stop. Honestly, it was like having a good friend drive you around and show you their country. I highly recommend Salvatore and Best Rome Drivers. It made our vacation easy and we customized our days with the stops we wanted for the amount of hours we wanted and every time we were ready to move on Salvatore was there with the car in seconds. Our day trip from Rome to Florence was on Christmas Eve with stops in Siena and San Gimignano and Salvatore suggested stopping at two viewpoints overlooking Florence so we could get amazing photos of the city at night. Everything was perfect about our time with Salvatore!

Our excellent driver, Salvatore, shuttled the van of 7 women from Lucca to San Gimignano, a wine tasting, to Siena and back again. We saw the wonderful towers and he patiently attempted to teach us to pronounce San Gim-mean-yano. An hour in the town went by very quickly but it was an excellent taste. High class wine tasting was next. We went to a lovely vinyard where 5 wines, one dessert wine and their aged balsamic were all sampled with lunch. Next our driver took us to Siena and gave us the best view of the piazza with the way we approached it and told us about the annual Palio (horse race). Salvatore was very flexible and accommodating with his timing. He was the perfect host - like being shown around his country by a friend.

Can’t say enough good thinks about Salvatore and Best Rome Drivers. Picture this young charming Italian man herding cats. He immediately got our group vibe and encouraged it. He couldn’t have been more proactive, more patient, funnier and his driving isn’t bad either. He was the perfect driver to spend 5-6 days with us. Highly recommend and suggest you ask for Salvatore. The trip was hassle free because of this company. Super comfortable vehicle too.

we had a great experience with our driver, Alex. He was very organized. he sent us a message a day before introducing himself and reminding pick up time. next day he was ready in front of the hotel on time. He had water bottles for everyone and umbrellas, in case it rains. we had a smooth ride to Siena and back to Rome. He is well informed about Rome and surrounding areas. His English is pretty good. we highly recommend Alex.

An incredible day we spent with Salvador! His perfect Spanish made us feel comfortable! He explained a lot to us about the topic of wine and authentic food from this beautiful region! He took photos of us that not even the best photographer in the world could do! Siena and San Giminiano left us speechless! The vehicle is super clean and has fresh water!
