My wife and I absolutely loved our afternoon at the archeological park with Eva. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Can't imagine a better way to explore the park. Highly recommend taking this tour!

Eva did a great job of showing us around the park. It was great to have a guide to explain everything we were looking at and to point out smaller details you'd never get out of a park map!.

A great tour of a very interesting archaeological site that spans hundreds of years of the island's Greek and Roman histories. Eva, our guide, was lovely.

Loved the island and the town was beautiful the Ancient Greek threatre and park was very very disappointing as they have covered up all the stone seats with wood and it is not just an ordinary open air theatre

Alan_H

Hearing about the history of the site from a very knowledgeable guide brought the structures to life. Otherwise, for me, it would have been just a pile of rocks.

Our guide Martina was superb and was a slam dunk 5 stars - very well educated, local, and well spoken. A real pleasure. BUT - the central attraction, the Greek amphitheater, is covered with temporary wooden bleachers during the summer because they stage Greek plays there every night. That in itself is cool and the bleachers necessary, but the image advertising the tour shows the uncovered amphitheater, which is what we came to see. The tour description does not include this salient fact. There are some interesting secondary sites to view, and our guide did her best to bring those to life, but Caveat Emptor.

We loved our guided tour of Neapolis. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. She really gave us wonderful insights. To be honest, without a guide, we wouldn't have gotten much out of the visit, as there isn't a lot of signage. But our guide was so great that we came away with a lot of understanding about the ruins and their place in the greater Greek and Roman worlds. Our group included two children (8 and 10 yrs old). I think some kids wouldn't have enjoyed it, but our kids are actually really interested in ancient Greek history (and to a lesser extent Roman history), so they were really into it.
