La mayoría de cosas que ver en Siracusa se concentran en el Parque de Neapolis y en la Isla de Ortigia, unida por tres puentes a la tierra firme. Neápolis es una especie de barrio que hay en Siracusa de la antigua polis griega, y que actualmente es el barrio económico y comercial más importante de la ciudad. En el barrio se encuentra la zona arqueológica más importante que visitar en Siracusa , y comprende el teatro griego, el anfiteatro romano, el Altar de Hierón y el Arco de Augusto. Cerca se encuentra otro de los lugares que ver en Siracusa: la Isla de Ortigia. En esta isla se encuentran más monumentos que ver en Siracusa : la Fuente de Aretusa, el Templo de Apolo y el Templo de Zeus Olímpico, a unos 3 km de la ciudad, construido sobre el siglo VI a. C. Pero además de todos estos sitios que ver en Siracusa relacionados con la antigüedad, hay otros puntos de interés turístico como la Tumba de Arquímedes, la Basílica de Santa Lucía extra Moenia, el Castello Maniace o el Palazzo Beneventano del Bosco Olvidarse de los planos y guias, dejarse llevar por las calles medievales que nos trasladaran a otra época.
