This was truly a phenomenal tour. I loved everything about it - the duration, the locations, the food sampled, the host, the specific dishes they chose to highlight and the finale of the evening. Our group had such a good time together and the whole event was even better because of our guide Fernanda. I learned a lot from her while having a blast. If this is your first trip to Rome, I definitely recommend this tour,

Go for the views from a private Roman rooftop. Stay for the artichokes.
I lived in Rome for a very long time & I still learned new things & places on this tour.
Fernanda showed us hidden in plain site treasures & explained the origins of some of the most famous Roman dishes.
The drink on a private rooftop is super special

What a fabulous introduction to a lesser known side of Rome! We explored the Jewish Ghetto, lesser known places in the historic center, and Trastevere through local cuisine. The food we tried was delicious (I can hardly say what I liked best - tough choice between the carciofi alla giudia and the baccalà fritto) but overall the company, the guide, the food and the sights made this a memorable experience.

We happened to be a few minutes late to the tour and had to contact the company to find out where the group was. We missed the first stop but the group waited for us at the second stop and had wine and snacks waiting! Lesson learned - make sure you’re on time! Other than the delayed start, this was such a fun and yummy tour! Our guide, John, was engaging and knowledgeable, and the group was made up of fun folks! Do this at the beginning of your trip to have lots of places to return to!

Thanks, JP for a great night. JP has a passion for both history and food making him a superb guide. An interesting tour and plenty of street food. A great way to see different parts of Rome and understand her history behind the street food.

This tour is mislabeled. It is a walking street food tour that begins in the Jewish Quarter. The food was fine. Restrooms not available at some of the stops. Water not shared at every stop. We were lucky to sit at one stop but could not fit all 12 of us. Guide did not share history of what we were eating. Guide spent too much time standing in line and negotiating to get our food. Quality of food was fine but the tour was a joke. Other guests felt the same way and we enjoyed joking about the poor planning and execution of the tour.

My wife and I had the pleasure of a wonderful food tour with Fernanda on our very first day in Rome, Italy. As this was our first trip to Italy we did not know what to expect but we were simply blown away by the various selections of Italian cuisine that Fernanda introduced us to. From fried artichoke to bianca & rosa pizza, to great selections of street foods and excellent wines and beers we dined like royalty. We were also very impressed with all the local history that Fernanda provided during the tour. I cannot recommend her or this tour highly enough.

Silvia our tour guide was wonderful! She was clearly passionate about the city, the food and the history of both. Great experience. We will not leave hungry!

Fantastic food tour! Food and drink were good, our guide Aurelio (spelling?) was great and really brought the city to life. Cannot praise him enough.

I went on December 1, 2023 and Ilharia was our tour guide and she was fantastic, the food was amazing, and I learned so much. Loved the fried artichoke flower, the fried cod, the suppli (I know I spelled it wrong), the pork sandwich, and the gelato! Ilharia was very energetic and her enthusiasm for the food and Roman culture was infectious! I loved how we were supporting local small businesses and the quality of the food and all the history and culture you learn from the tour is top notch! Highly recommend!
