Sharon was awesome! A little touch of California to help us ease into Rome history. She lived in Italy a long time to understand the history but had enough LA style to adapt to our “tourist way of thinking”. I loved how flexible she was with our tour especially since we did it in thunderstorms and rain she was a trooper! We ended the day making pasta and drinking wine. I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend of mine throughout the whole time. Highly recommend this company. It said small group, but honestly it was just me and my husband and the guide! I love those intimate types of tours, you really get to know your guide and their impression of the city. Thank you Sharon!

This walking tour and cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. With only a few days in Rome, this tour enable us to see some of the most notable sites in one afternoon and learn about their history and significance. Nina was an extremely engaging, knowledgeable, patient and gracious guide, who made this tour extra special. She also translated during our cooking session with Chef Paula, where we learned to prepare artichokes, mix and roll gnocchi, and make ciabelline, a crunchy licorice-flavoured cookie. Molto delizioso and so much fun! We will fondly remember this tour and our time in Rome whenever we make the recipes at home. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our thorough and intimate walking tour of Rome with the BEST tour guide! Our tour was filled with unique local history and the best planned stops at local fountains, ruins and popular historic sights. We loved the opportunity to learn pasta making from a local chef who had worked in a Michelin Star restaurant in NYC. The full attention we received was amazing! Well worth the price and hands down a great experience!

My husband & I did this walking tour & cooking class with Nina in July 2018 & we would thoroughly recommend it! Nina was an excellent & friendly tour guide & her knowledge & English was superb. The walking tour was enough information without being overloaded, and the cooking class was in an authentic Italian restaurant with a great chef. We highly recommend Nina as a tour guide & would definitely seek her out again if we ever go back to Italy! :)

This tour was the best of both worlds with a tour and cooking experience. We got unlucky with the weather on our trip, but our tour guide Nina braved through the storm and gave us an amazing tour of the city, teaching us fun facts about Rome. My sister and I had so much fun cooking with our local Italian chef (but avoided screwing up thanks to Nina's translations!) - and it was the best pasta I had my entire trip. We would highly recommended for any age group!

This past January my wife and I took a combination walking tour and cooking class led by Nina. We saw several sites in Rome we would not have covered otherwise including the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, among others. We were joined by a family of four so it was a nice manageable, and enjoyable group. Nina was informative and fun and the right amount of detail, humor and walking. The cooking class was a real highlight. Nina helped translate from the restaurant executive chef and guide each tourist in the preparation. The end result was delicious and great recipes you can take home with you and easily make from scratch as we have done ourselves. We highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a good combination of entertainment and education.
