A long series of ancient arcades ,that enclose a lot of bars and restaurants, flank the square, on one side you will enjoy the wonderful view of the Correr Museum and right in front of it the sumptuous Basilic with its 4 bronze horses facing the center of the square.

Doge's Palace

Enter the Doge's Palace, The first and second floors are accessible by lift. Let yourself be enthralled by the works of Tintoretto and the elegant halls that you will cross.

Basilica di San Marco

Born as a ducal chapel, it symbolizes all the grandeur of Venice, also known as the Gold Basilic for the golden mosaics that fill it almost entirely

Ponte dei Sospiri

Leaving the Doge’s palace you will be able to admire from the outside the famous Bridge of Sights that internally connects the palace with the new prisons, not accessible by wheelchair because of a tight passage and not equipped for the wheelchair.

Ponte di Rialto

Catch again the steamboat n 1 and reach Rialto district, one of the most famous district in which Venice is divided. Rialto is famous all around the world for the romantic Rialto Bridge, the white stone bridge anciently the only one bridge which joined the two side of the Gran canal and built to faciltate the commercial trade. In fact, not everyone knows that Rialto is very famous for its markets that fill the lives of the Venetians almost every day of the week in the morning. Famous is the fresh fish market but you can find every type of food even the stands of typical Venetian desserts

My wife and I signed up to take this tour on the first day we arrived in Venice. We had never been to Italy before and thought the tour would give us a little local knowledge that would help us get acclimated to the city. It turned out to be a great decision. Our tour guide, Denise, brought us to many different sites and had interesting stories and anecdotes that made the tour the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Venice.
