Only two of us on the day as one couldn't make it. Normally bigger groups but we enjoyed the attention from our excellent English speaking guide. Have visited a couple of other wineries in Abruzzo but each one is different. In this case, we enjoyed the Museum very much and finishing off with really nice food and wine tasting. Even though I was driving, I was able to taste each wine and then tip what I didn't dare drink into a special jug (or preferably into my wife's glass for her enjoyment!). We were then able to purchase a few bottles to take home at a reasonable price. Finding the winery wasn't too bad with the SatNav, down the Autostrada from Prato Pelina/Sulmona towards Pescara and then off at Scafa towards Nocciano. The road gets a bit narrow towards the end but not too bad. We will definately come again some time when we can round up a few friends to make up a group.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and wine making process. She also easily switched from Italian to English to accommodate a mixed group of locals and Americans. Food was a nice complement to the wine. The wines were good, but did not blow us away. Views, scenery, and tour were worth the visit.

In Abruzzo and maybe a little way off the beaten track, but we’ll worth the detour if you are interested in wine and it’s production. A guide was very knowledgable.

This was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable and gave us a sense of history that made the tour interesting. The wine tasting was accompanied with delicious antipasto. To top it off we met a sweet couple on their honeymoon! We were celebrating 50 years of marriage and so meeting them was poignant. Great wine adventure!

Fabulous wine tasting experience and tour. Very informative and interesting. They’ve added a wine museum to the tour which is full of all sorts of memorabilia. You have 4 different types of wine for the tasting with plate of meats, cheeses and fruit all served under pergola. Very good value. Definitely recommend.

This vineyard tour was amazing. Beyond my expectations. We weren’t rushed and the tour lasted approximately three hours. Nestere is an excellent tour guide. He took the time to explain in detail the wine making process ad how the equipment operates. This family owned business has created a huge museum in the cellar of wine making artifacts and Abruzzo life syle artifacts from the 1800 and prior. The museum is incredible and full of antique items! A historian’s dream come true! The tour is followed by an excellent outdoor lunch and sampling of 5 Montepulciano wines. Giovanna taught us a lot about how to taste wines and identify different flavours. She explained why you should swirl and smell your wineglass. Giovanna is extremely knowledgeable. This is a vineyard tour that you should not miss! Thank you Nestere and Giovanna for keeping wine making and Abruzzo history alive! Best wishes, Flaviana

We were amazed when the owner, whose great grandfather started the winery in 1897, did the first part of the tour. He explained the family history, took us through the museum, showing us old artifacts collected over the years. Truly impressive. The wine making process was very interesting and the wine was very good. The charcuterie board, containing local products, was also good. We enjoyed our time.

I’m a big lover of Montepulchiano and so I had high expectations. Safe to say they were met and exceeded. A very interesting tour which took us through current production methods and the history of Bosco. We then got to sample 5 wines, including two of their best which - a wonderful Montepulchiano and a very enjoyable and complex Chardonnay (and I don’t really like Chardonnay) To top it all off there was a very generous and tasty cheese and meat selection to go with it. Would highly recommend. I only wish I wasn’t flying home and could have bought more wine!
