I booked last minute Uffizi tour and I was very happy with my choice! The museum was fantastic, the guide was amazing and the assistant was easy to find and super helpful. Highly recomend if coming to Florence!

We had a disappointing experience. We bought a tour with a local tour guide and when we arrived, we were told we had a self-guided audio tour. I complained and only received a $20 refund. The service is terrible- don’t use them!

We booked this tour for 7/20 a month ago and were extremely dissatisfied with it. It was worse than having no guide at all. The only pro was there were only two people in the group — me and my son. The issues began upon check in. The guide is very hard of hearing and had trouble communicating even with the employees checking us in, let alone us, making communication very difficult. We had to shout for him to hear and also his English was poor so even when he heard, he often didn't understand our questions. He spoke very slowly and quietly to the point where we could not understand what he was saying and we ended up wandering around on our own. It was a total waste of time and money.

We arrived at the location and our guide was nowhere to be found. I believe we were at the correct location because we had another guide lead us to the spot. The other guide tried to help us but to no avail. I called Viator but received a lack of communication and understanding from the operator. We will expect to be refunded and you will be contacted by our credit card company. Horrible service and our day was close to ruined by your company.

Astonishing art well explained by our guide. Small group of 7 then just 3 people so it was easy to hear and ask questions. The Ufizzi can be overwhelming without someone there giving you background information and guidance as to what to look for. It brought the experience to life.

We did not like our guide or the way the trip was organized. As opposed to the Academia tour, where you could listen to your guide speak and teach, this tour we were given small boxes to wear around our neck and the guide simply told us which number to push to hear the pre-recorded messages, that is if you could even hear/find her because she was not always in earshot. She had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand. I’m not slamming anyone whose primary language isn’t English, but if you’re giving English speaking tours, it should be easier to understand. We were hurried through each room, and there is so much to see that you simply can’t do it all in 90 minutes. This precious time could have been better spent doing something else. Unless you did your dissertation on 13th century renaissance art, it probably won’t mean much to you. 2 stars at best.
