Verona

(Pass by)

You will meet your guide in the historical centre of Verona, under the Roman monument of Porta Borsari, where you will be provided with bikes and helmets. From here we will leave towards the eastern part of Valpolicella, initially skirting the ancient city walls.

Montorio

Through cycle paths and country roads, in a short time we will reach the heart of Valpantena, a valley famous for the production of olive oil and wine. Along the way we will stop in a couple of vineyards where I will explain the local cultivation systems, the pergola and guyot, and the characteristics of the grapes used to produce Amarone.

Montorio

The winery we will visit is family-run. Our guide will be a member of the family who will guide us through the vineyard, the drying room where the grapes are dried, the production area and the cooperage for the refinement of the wine. The tasting includes 4 wines: a white wine IGT, Valpolicella Ripasso, Amarone and the sweet wine Recioto together with a cutting board of cheese, salami and bread with homemade oil.
