Pompeii Archaeological Park

Pompeii is a city of Campania. It is known for its ancient city buried in 79 AD from the eruption of Vesuvius. The ruins include the Villa dei Misteri with frescoes and the Roman amphitheater. Sorrento

The city of Sorrento, from which all the territory takes its name which, perched on the Lattari Mountains, separates the Gulf of Naples from that of Salerno, is a renowned destination for international tourism: lying on a large tufa terrace overlooking the sea, is a small and quiet resort famous for its villas, hotels, parks and gardens, as well as for the beautiful views and characteristic citrus groves. Of Greek origin, and then grown under Roman domination, Sorrento today gravitates around Piazza Tasso and Corso Italia (where the Duomo stands), from which the sea can be reached through a maze of narrow streets full of characteristic and lively commercial businesses. The most striking view is the one seen from the Villa Comunale viewpoint, which opens onto the port and the entire Gulf of Naples; from here, a narrow descent allows you to reach the bathing establishments of the Marina Piccola and the port itself, with connections to Naples and the main towns of Campania.

Positano

Positano is a town on the Amalfi coast, in southern Italy. It is a very popular tourist destination with pebble beaches and narrow, steep streets full of shops and cafes. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta has a majolica dome and a Byzantine icon of the 13th century Virgin Mary. The Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail connects Positano to the other coastal towns.

Our group of 11 had Diego and Mario drive us to Mount Vesuvius, Pompei, lunch and short city tour. It was a wonderful experience and they took the time to drive one of us to the mall to fix a broken cell phone while the others in the group had lunch. Delores is an amazing and patient Pompei guide especially since we had kids in the group. And the restaurant suggestion for lunch was perfect. Big thank you to Diego and Mario both for making our trip to Naples such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be calling you up when we come back to this amazing city.

This tour was AMAZING! From getting picked up at the train station right away, then dropped off to our hotel where we were staying at in Naples. All the endless sights. Diego our tour guide and Driver was THE BEST! He even got us reservations for lunch with beautiful views and went out of his way to pre purchase our Pompeii tickets for us. Diego is very passionate and enthusiastic about showing the best of what the Amalfi coast has to offer. Also, he's a great driver felt very safe the entire time! THANK YOU DIEGO!

A spectacular experience with Diego and Mario for our trip to Almafi, Sorrentino and Pompei. They are not only knowledgeable in the history of the area but they are also very friendly where they treat you like famiglia out of town. You’ll be well taken care of no matter what you do and where you go.

The dining experience was at the top of the list in Napoli. I had a traditional Neapolitan pizza made with true old school recipe…it was amazing.

We found Mario online to get a private tour of the Amalfi coast. He helped show us many of the hidden gems found along the coast and knew how to beat the crowds. My wife and I had a wonderful time with Mario and seeing all there was to see on the coast. I can not recommend this tour enough. It was an amazing experience!

The only way to experience the Amalfi coast in one day is to take the private tour. Our driver, Diego was great at expressing his passion for the area and kept us entertained and informed between each stop. We saw awesome views in Pasitano and had a relaxing lunch in Sorento. Never felt rushed and always stayed ahead of the crowded buses. Our day ended with a 2 hour stop in Pompeii. The perfect ending to a perfect day. Thanks, Diego.

We had a fabulous day with our driver/guide Eugene. He provided so much information as the day progressed - history, geography, culture. His knowledge of the area is impeccable. The benefits of a private tour when you have limited time is the ability to customize your time and change it if necessary. Driving laws appear to be suggestions in that area and Eugene expertly navigated the traffic saving us much stress as well. Pompeii was fascinating - take advantage of the private guide they offer. Mario asked for Luccio V who was fantastic. He is informative, professional and participated in the archeological dig at Pompeii - ask him about the 'horse'. The countryside of Positano and Sorrento is gorgeous and enough time was allocated for the various stops. Resturant suggestions were very good. This group works very hard at providing a top tier tour and you will enjoy the entire day.

Mario was a great tour guide. My fiancé and I took our parents on a trip to Italy visiting numerous cities. Based off their commentary I would say that this was probably their favorite part of the trip. It was a great day trip getting to squeeze in some Amalfi coast pit stops with great views along the drive and some history with a stop at Pompeii. Mario was also very helpful not only with taking us to a great lunch spot in Sorrento but he also helped us call a local Naples restaurant to secure a dinner reservation. Would highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Naples.
