Sorrento

The olive oil mill/yard is known as an orchard of olive trees in the Sorrentinian Peninsula. The history of the production of olive oil dates back many years, even back to the times of Greek mythology. The colonies used to prepare large jars of olive oil, which were produced in Sorrento and donated them to the Goddess of Athens at Punta Campanella and even since then olive oil has always been a part of their tradition. When walking around Sorrento and its surrounding areas you will notice the vast number of terraces in the hills which are covered with olive trees, it is a peaceful place, located on the hills of Sorrento, more precisely Sant'Agnello, is where the Mill is situated. You will have the opportunity to taste and purchase various olive oil. Ranging from orange flavoured, lemon flavoured, delicate extra virgin olive oil has biological natural flavour and much more.

Sorrento

Giardini Di Cataldo: A beautiful oasis away from the busy streets of Sorrento. This oasis is filled with lemon and orange trees. As you are walking through a quiet, quaint lovely garden, the smell of the lemon and orange trees will tingle your senses as you take in the street aroma of citrus. You will have the opportunity to taste various flavors of limoncello which are very delightful. You will have the opportunity to purchase limoncello at a very good price, straight from the source. This is an additional cost of E12 per person.

Vesuvius National Park

Wine tour will occur around Vesuvius Volcano where there is a breathtaking wine yard where they grow particular grapes in order to make a great wine known as lacrima de Christi which means the tears of Christ. This is thanks to the volcanic soil. You can test different types of wine as well eat authentic italian food. This is an additional cost that starts at E32-E38per person or more depending what you choose from the menu. It includes 4 different wine tasting. ‎

We had Veronica as our driver. She took us to a small olive oil shop with good products, but nothing like the description in the package. We were not taken to a Limoncello tour which was why we booked it to begin. With. She just dropped us off in Sorrento no recommendations or advice on what to go see or do. She picked us up and took us to a beautiful winery but didn’t explain the wine tour coat and lunch was not included in our package. We were served some charcuterie and pasta with red sauce for lunch and the wine tasting was four small pours of not very good wine. So in top of the cost of the “tour” we had to pay an additional €84 for stuff I would never have ordered I would have preferred to go to a restaurant of my choice if we were having a gastronomic experience, which this WAS NOT. We had questions about why we were being charged and were looking for her and trying to contact her but we couldn’t find her. When we did find her she said it wasn’t included and got snappy. It started to rain and she was aggressively speaking to us in the rain. I asked if we could just get into the car so we wouldn’t get rained on and she said no I want to discuss this. I said that’s fine but could we get out of the rain. She got the cat and then honked at us to get in. As opposed to listening to us and say we thought we were also doing a limoncello tasting she just drove us back to the hotel, 2 hours before our tour was up, so we would have had enough time to see. The weirdest part was when she dropped us off she then followed us down the street to see where we were going next. We had a lot of great drivers and tours we’ve booked through Viator this was DEFINITELY NOT one of them. I would never recommend booking with this company at all, total false advertising!!!

We reserved with this company last year.We were a party of four adult with 6 cases and some bags ,so needed a large vehicle.And Vito arranged it for us.Everything was perfect and Vito was right on time and he gave us a fantastic day.He drove us around Amalfi Coast .We visited with him a local limoncello farm and in the same time we had the opportunity to move out of the standard tour. We booked a private Gastronomic Tour from Naples to Sorrento. We met Vito who was excellent ,precise and very professional driver guide. He took us to all of the main points throughout our tour. The Van Mercedes was clean,elegant and very comfortable...I really recommend this company to everyone who would like to visit this land. Vito is the best and he is worth every penny!!! Thank you for our memorable day .....
