Excellent tour!!!! Danilo was amazing!!!!! He gave us a private tour and we even went to the underground aqueducts. We were very lucky to have had him as our guide. The Veiled Christ is a must see. Mile Gracie Danilo !!!!!!

Visita guidata con Francesca, ragazza fantastica si vede che ama il suo lavoro, ci ha dato molte nozioni, non siamo stati a san Severo, chiusura per manutenzione Francesca ha utilizzato il suo sapere per colmare l intoppo Super super!!!

La Cappella è uno scrigno di Arte e di Esoterismo unico al mondo. Ciò che disgusta è che, fra i vigilanti, ci sono persone maleducate, arroganti, spocchiose e presuntuose, gente che ti sta col fiato sul collo temendo tu possa fare qualcosa di non consentito, L'antitesi del buon servizio, insomma ! Io che sono un esperto d'Arte e che, pertanto, non ho bisogno nè di guida cartacea, nè umana, nè di audioguida, ho accompagnato in visita un gruppo di parenti provenienti da fuori Regione. Siamo stati tutto il tempo della visita con gli occhi puntati di certi "cani da guardia", pronti a richiamarci per un nonnulla, attentissimi a quanto dicevo, evidentemente stizzati dal fatto che non avevamo comprato nessuna guida. Per il periodo natalizio si sono inventati che ogni visita dura la massimo 25 minuti, così possono far entrare fiumane di visitatori paganti, in modo da fare cassa (non c'è scritta da nessuna parte questa strana limitazione). Allo scoccare del 25° minuto i "cani da guardia", con modi sgarbati, ti spingono ad uscire e sembra che, col loro cantilenare, vogliano suscitare una reazione. Se ci capitate, rimanete tranquilli e sorridete, così, come diciamo a Napoli, " se magnano 'o........".

Molto interessante e molto bello. L’unica cosa negativa e che a differenza di tutte le altre visite che abbiamo fatto compreso il museo archeologico la non si può fotografare neanche senza flash. Ti costringono a comperare il libro con le opere. Si vede proprio che è un sito privato e vogliono guadagnare al massimo. Peccato perché ogniuno ha un suo modo di vedere e sentire le opere d’arte.

IMPRESSIONANTE ! Sempre affascinante , questo spazio, ma i restauri nel tempo e l'eccessima inadeguata illuminazione fanno perdere il fascino d'un tempo. Anche di recente con i visitatori all'interno confermo che il tutto , sminuisca di creare un certo Pathos , ma e' sempre una scoperta per il visitatore . Il CRISTO VELATO del Sammartino e' un'opera particolarissima e altamente virtuosistica e non solo, perche' fa intravedere il Cristo morto giacente, con sopra un velo di marmo trasparente . Bellissima e unica ! Forse sono stato tra i primi a vederla negli anni '60 con luce di candela. Ma STRACONSIGLIO DI DEDICARE UN'ORA DI TEMPO A QUESTA ECCEZIONALITA' NAPOLETANA!
