We loved our Capri boat tour from Positano. We were staying in Positano but the boats were docked at Sorrento so we were very happy that the experience included transportation! The boat ride was a dream - one of our favorite parts of our whole trip! Even though it wasn't private (we were with about 10 others), it felt personal and we definitely had enough space to make our own memories and take photos. The host, Francesca, taught us so much about the island of Capri and she was friendly and personable - she remembered all our names! The skipper/captain was also very impressive - all of the passengers were commenting on how well he maneuvered the boat so that passengers at the front and the back got the Grotto experiences. The views were picturesque and the Prosecco / snacks / wine / beer / water / lunch made it even better. We would do this again if we are ever back in the coast and would recommend it to anyone looking for a day trip to Capri that includes some boat time!

We had an excellent time on the boat tour with Luca and Nello. Everything went perfect from the meeting point to the explanation of the sites to the delicious sandwiches. I was truly amazed at our skipper’s (Nello) boating skills. He was able to back into the grottos with incredible precision.

Where do I begin I had two crew members Francesca and tommaso they couldn’t have done enough we booked a private boy transfer from sorrento to Capri where we was staying they helped with the luggage popped the prosecco! They gave us a description of all the cool spots on the way that couldn’t have done enough! They was attentive respected social distancing rules! Even after we finished one bottle they popped another no problem it was all effortless I cannot recommend enough if your in the south and need a boat transfer or cruise definitely hit up Francesca and tomasso they was brilliant thanks guys and see you next year!

We’ve been in Italy for 8 days and today is the first sighting of the Sun. The sun helped but it was the gracious and friendly service provided by Fred our boat captain and Alex our guide. If you want someone who is friendly, speaks fluent English and Italian, and seems to know everyone in Capri, then ask for Alex! He is a wonderful person who will make your trip excellent. Booked a 7 person boat tour of Capri from Sorrento. Trip was as advertised except we actually had 8 tourists instead of 7 (2 children). Tour was great with a few minor exceptions. The dry snacks advertised were minimal and poor. The Blue Grotto was a complete cluster (it had been closed for the previous 7 days). It was entertaining to watch and listen to Italian Captains and gondola rowers having heated arguments about who was next. The Blue Grotto is beautiful inside but, in my opinion, not worth the wait. The extra delay resulted in our having less than 3 hours of free time on the island which resulted in a very hurried experience since we wanted to do the chair lift to the top and we were starving. I highly recommend taking the semi-private van/bus if you want to get anywhere. On the plus side were our tour guide Francesca who was very attentive, knowledgeable and extremely sweet. Our captain was Nello, who was very professional, skilled and rumored to be the best (seasoned pro). Capri is beautiful.

I highly recommend doing the small group boat tour from Sorrento to Capri. We had such a wonderful time, and our guides Rosella & Jack were fantastic! Stopped by at several grottos, including the famous Blue Grotto. Spent 4 hours on Capri for shopping and site seeing. Then, wrapping the day up with a boat tour and swimming. This is a must do for anyone visiting the area.
