Me and my sister were in Milan only for one evening. And I thought this was the perfect way to know the city. Salvatore, our guide was on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside to the entire tour was the overhead expenses that was not conveyed to us. If there is a destination during the tour which requires us to reach by metro then the cost should be borne by the company. Or else the itinerary should clearly mention the same. It was very unexpected when we were suddenly told to pay for the fares and then the tour can continue . It was very unprofessional.

Francesca was a great guide! It was our first time in Italy and second day in Milan. We mistakenly booked Francesca for the wrong day and she kindly rearranged her afternoon to make it happen for us - she was super flexible - Thank You again Francesca. She took the time to explain many architectural and historical facts that we would have not been aware of, and took the time to walk us down different locations. Would recommend anyone seeking great information about Milan architecture and other little secrets about the city to take a walk with Francesca.

This was not our first trip to Milan so we wanted a different perspective of the city. We had one day only before we continued our travels. This tour was excellent. For us it was exactly the kind of information about Milan that we wanted. Perfect. Unfortunately the weather was grueling - soooo hot and humid and I was getting over a summer cold. Our guide Salvatore was very considerate as he realized we were suffering from the weather. He ensured we were in the shade and changed the tour to accommodate an easier path. We learned about architecture - old and new. We viewed the juxtaposition of the new against the old. This tour should not take the place of a walking tour of the Duomo and other sites - in my opinion this tour should be enjoyed in conjunction with those tours. It was special. I would suggest contacting the host before the tour to ensure that you will have the best experience. We highly recommend Salvatore and this tour.

Outstanding recommend ‘We Local’ as a starting point for all vacations! Salvatore took us on a private walking tour while highlighting the all the historical and contemporary points that make Milan so special. He even took the time to show us how to travel by subway to see more after our tour! Salvatore’s English is impeccable and there were no communication gaps. In addition to the shopping, Duomo, the vertical forest, and Eataly, Salvatore escorted us to the best gelato place in Milan! Perfect foundation for the rest of our stay in Milan.
