We visited this villa and its gardens. There’s a nice legend for this place. A couple had a girl who was dwarf. So to make her believe that everyone was like her, they built small things and small furniture. They also had small people who worked for them. One day she saw a nice boy on the street and she fell in love with him. As she was dwarf and as he didn’t want her, she cried a lot and she died of grief…

What an amazing place. The frescoes are outstanding. The gardens are really worth exploring. We thought we would be there for an hour but we ended up spending almost 3 hours it is worth giving the Villa time to explore itproperly.

Stunning villa and its garden. Beautiful frescoes. Friendly staff. Caffe terrace ideal for rest and a spritz. Parking place. Not a lot of tourists. 10-min walk to La Rotonda.

a charming villa with a beautiful garden and a separated building for guests, worth a stop, especially if you combine the visit with the major Palladio's masterpiece 5 mins walk from here, Rotonda. Just an idea - park the car here (if you are lucky to get the parking place) and see both of the villas. Parking close to Rotonda seems more problematic.

This is a relatively small property consisting of two villas with gorgeous gardens. The part of the gardens included in the entrance tickets is of limited size and does not take long to see. Each room in the villas is frescoed in a different style, one nicer than the next. It was a pleasure to be able to enjoy non-religious art in Italy. We took a taxi from the train station to this attraction and asked the security guard to call a taxi for us when we were ready to leave.

Italy is full of history, I don't think this is a special house, but it has a beaut story , a father who loves a daughter, a girl who is rich but lonely, a short love, a regrettable ending 意大利歷史悠久,我不認為這是一個非常特別的房子,但它有一個可以想像的故事,一個愛女兒的父親,一個富有但孤獨的女孩,一個想像中的愛,一個令人遺憾的結尾

Gorgeous villa, highly recommended. Beautiful grounds and Tiepolo frescos!

The villa can be reached on foot from the center of Vicenza along the road along the rivers and a cycle and pedestrian path. We recommend it because it is problematic to park nearby, as there are a small number of spaces available. We took the guided tour with Giuseppe. It is not entirely visible because there are construction sites underway. This visit is more focused on the pictorial works mainly of Tiepolo father and son, featuring numerous very evocative frescoes, which Giuseppe was able to illustrate and enhance with a lot of passion, which he passed on to us. The presence of numerous stone statues representing garden gnomes on the surrounding walls is characteristic. I recommend visiting with a guide to fully appreciate it.

Preparing our visit to Vicenza we informed ourselves about this splendid visit. It is located just outside Vicenza and can be reached by bus or even on foot with a nice walk. We booked the guided tour that we suggest, with a few euros more the visit acquires a different flavour. Our group was led by the Countess, a lovely and competent person who manages to make the explanations exhaustive but also light. The frescoed rooms are very beautiful and the whole of the villa also represents a cross-section of the society of the time, comfortable and with a beautiful view of the panorama, the refreshment point present, for us it is absolutely worth it.
