This was our first walking tour after arriving in Florence. It was an excellent way to learn our way around the city and take in plenty of history. It was very informative but also fun, keeping us all engaged the whole time!

Our guide "Ludji' (don't know the correct spelling) was excellent. Personable, well-informed, good crowd control and professional. I would highly recommend any of the tours she gives to everyone.

The tour itself was accommodating but was a repeat of several other tours we had taken. The problem was we were not told there, was an additional cost for the tour upfront. We showed the tour guide our documentation that we had paid the booking company for the tour, yet they insisted we still owed ten euros each. Very deceptive practice. The fact that the additional charge was due did not come to light until late in the tour and we tried to tip the guide and they refused saying it was insult to be given such a small amount of money and demanded 10 euros. The only mention of this additional charge was made in the review section. Over all we were embarrassed and unhappy with the overall experience. This was our last evening in Florence and we had spent most of our cash. We were forced to go to an ATM machine to make a withdrawal for money to pay the guide. Another younger couple to to make a with drawl from an AMT as well, so it was not the fact we are a mature couple and had missed a notice. Again a very unpleasant experience.

The fact that the tour through Viator cost us as a couple less than $12 was misleading because it was not stated that we would need to pay the guide as well. It was unexpected and embarrassing. We had to be lead to an ATM to pay him. Another couple in the group had the same experience, so the tour option on the Viator website needs to be made more plain. The guide was knowledgeable and funny although he did not give the other couple the attention and questions he gave us.

We paid for this tour through trip advisor. We turned up at the tour on time in the correct location and the tour guide had our names down. He mentioned to us how this was a “free tour” but had a mandatory €10 fee at the end. How is it free then? We mentioned we had paid this €10 fee through trip advisor but he kept saying we had not paid nothing despite us showing him the ticket and booking fee receipt.

Must -do tour when in Florence! It was a great way to see the city and learn about its fascinating history. We particularly loved that the tour was later in the evening so there were fewer crowds and it was much mich cooler! Our tour guide, Marco, was incredibly knowledgeable and had so many funny stories and jokes sprinkled throughout which made the tour than much more fun. Highly recommend!!!

I did the morning tour with Caterina and enjoyed every minute of it. She was funny, engaging and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Florence. It was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on and just wish I could have stayed longer to do one of the other tours! Highly, highly recommend when in Florence.

The tour guide Marco was knowledgeable and entertaining. He showed around the main sites and the hidden gems that I wouldn’t have found on my own. Overall, it was great experience and a MUST DO while on Florence with Marco. Will do it again next time.
