Wonderful experience here. Staff were delightful, spoke excellent English and provided a very memorable day. From a tour of the winery, learning about the region followed by a wine tasting and delicious lunch. We did the tour with a 9 month old baby which was very well accommodated for. 10/10 recommend.

The lady taking the tour was very professional and had a wealth of knowledge. The tour was done at a comfortable pace and the wines were very good. The food was great and overall we thought it was a wonderful experience and good value for money.

As a part of our stay at Guardastelle, we took part in a tour of the winery. The tour included a walk alongside the vineyards and through the wine-making process with our knowledgeable host, Caterina. It finished with a delicious 4 course meal matched with Guardastelle wines. The winery was very flexible and easily accommodated for the various dietary needs of our group (coeliac, vegetarian and nut allergy). We were able to enjoy the meal at our own pace and enjoy the food, wine and each other’s company in a beautiful setting.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience! My husband and I visited for the tour, lunch and wine tasting on my birthday. It was such a memorable way to spend part of our day. Our guide was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable and really added to the experience. The five wines we sampled and the lunch were amazing and the winery is absolutely beautiful with unbeatable views of the city from the veranda where the lunch was served. We walked to the winery from San Gimignano and back which was very scenic and pleasant and took us about 25 minutes each way. We hope to return someday for a stay in one of the rooms at the winery. Highly recommend!

What a lovely experience! We went there for a winetasting/ lunch. There were three adults and a 7 year old, and my little girl loved it a lot as well! We have a nice walk through the vinyard and then tried some INCREDIBLE wines with just the most perfect pairings for lunch. The view cannot be beat- it was like we were in a movie. Per perfection.

The couple that own and run this winery are the exemplars of small family businesses that advocate support their community. They welcome you into their home while providing education on wines and the the wine making process. The entire staff is charming and lovely. The food and wine are outstanding

We stayed in San Gimignano and decided on lunch and tasting at Guardastelle as it was close and within walking distance ( don’t follow google map’s directions- trust your instincts it will shave 10/15 mins off walk !) The tour of vineyard was both enjoyable and informative and was given by a very engaging lady from Finland (can’t remember name sorry). This was followed by the tastings - we went for the 5 wines each of which was very acceptable in their own way. The tastings accompanied the lunch which was the local hams / salamis / cheese which were excellent. They even accommodated our token Vegan. This was all finished off with some cake and dessert wine. All in all a very good few hours spent at Guardastelle.
