Getting There

  • Car

    From anywhere in the South West region, take the main highways towards Ballarat. If you are starting from Geelong, take the M1 towards Ballarat. After about 45 minutes, take the exit for the Western Highway (A300) towards Ballarat. Continue on A300 for approximately 30 km, then take the exit towards Ballarat East. Follow the signs to Ballarat Wildlife Park. The park is located at 250 Fussell St, Ballarat East VIC 3350. Note that there is no entry from Richards St.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are traveling by public transport, head to the Ballarat train station. V/Line services operate regularly from Melbourne to Ballarat, with tickets costing around AUD 20-30 depending on the time of booking. Once you arrive at Ballarat station, you can take bus number 23 from stop 1 (located just outside the station) towards Ballarat East. Disembark at the stop nearest to Fussell St. From there, it's a short walk to the park. The total journey may take approximately 2 hours from Melbourne.
