Car
From central Mühlviertel, take the B310 towards Linz. After approximately 30 km, merge onto the A7 motorway towards Linz. Continue for about 15 km. Take the exit for Linz Zentrum (exit 25) and follow signs for Innenstadt. Once in the city center, navigate to the address 4020 Linz, where the Denkmal für die heimatvertriebenen Sudetendeutschen is located. There is limited street parking available, and fees may apply.
Public Transportation
Start at any local bus or train station in Mühlviertel. Take a train towards Linz. Most direct routes will take you to Linz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From Linz Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and take tram line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Landstraße' stop. From there, it's a short walk to 4020 Linz. Be sure to check the local transport schedules for the most convenient times. A single ticket will cost approximately €2.50.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can follow the designated bike paths from various points in Mühlviertel to Linz. The route will take you along scenic paths and is approximately 30-40 km, depending on your starting point. Once in Linz, you can bike to 4020 Linz. Ensure you have a bike lock as there are bike parking facilities near the monument.
