Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from La Paz and take the main road towards Coroico (Ruta 3). Follow the signs to Yungas, which will lead you through beautiful landscapes. After about 1.5 to 2 hours, you'll reach the town of Coroico. From Coroico, continue on the same road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Bella Vista. The entrance to Cotapata National Park is marked along the road, and you can park nearby. Be sure to check your GPS coordinates for 'R422+G6W, Bella Vista' as your final destination.

    To use public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in La Paz. Look for buses heading to Coroico; these are frequent and take about 3 hours.
