Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, such as Tuzla or Sarajevo. From Tuzla, take the M18 highway heading towards the town of Kladanj. Continue on the M18 until you reach the junction with the M5 and turn onto the M5 towards Velika Kladuša. Follow the M5 for about 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Martin Brod. The Great Una Waterfalls are located approximately 5 kilometers from Martin Brod, so continue driving until you see signs directing you to the waterfalls. You can park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the waterfall entrance. Be aware that some roads may be narrow or winding, so drive carefully.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Tuzla or Sarajevo to the nearest town, Velika Kladuša. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Velika Kladuša, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading to Martin Brod. This local bus typically runs a few times a day, so check the schedule in advance. After arriving in Martin Brod, you can either walk approximately 5 kilometers to the Great Una Waterfalls or take a taxi for a small fee, which usually costs around 10-15 BAM (Bosnian Convertible Marks).

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from either Velika Kladuša or Martin Brod. Taxis are available in both towns, and you can negotiate a price with the driver. Expect to pay approximately 20-30 BAM for a taxi ride directly to the Great Una Waterfalls from Martin Brod, which is about a 10-minute drive. This option is convenient if you want to avoid walking or waiting for public transport.
