Getting There

• By Car

  From Zvornik, head northwest on the M19 road towards the town of Srebrenica. Continue on M19 for approximately 40 km until you reach the intersection with the M5 road. Take the M5 road towards Sarajevo. After about 60 km, take the exit towards Bjelasnica and follow the signs for Javorov Do. The final destination will be on your right. The total driving time is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

• By Bus

  Catch a bus from Zvornik to Sarajevo at the main bus station. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once in Sarajevo, transfer to a local bus heading towards Bjelasnica. You can catch this bus at the 'Sarajevo bus station'. The local bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Javorov Do. Total travel time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, and bus fares will vary, but expect to pay around 10-15 BAM for the long-distance bus and about 5 BAM for the local bus.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi or using a rideshare service from Zvornik to Javorov Do. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 100-150 BAM depending on the service and time of day. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

• Walking or Hiking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Bjelasnica Mountain and prefer a hiking adventure, you can hike to Javorov Do. There are several trails leading to the area, but ensure you have a good map or a GPS device, as some paths can be challenging. It’s advisable to plan your hike during daylight hours and carry enough water and snacks. The hiking time will depend on your starting point but expect to spend at least 2-3 hours on the trail.
