Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Coquimbo, head to the Terminal de Buses de Coquimbo, located at Avenida Juan Silva 300. Take a bus heading towards Vicuña. The bus ride typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the bus driver that you are headed to 'Rivadavia' or 'Sector Río Claro.'

    Once you arrive at the Rivadavia stop, exit the bus and look for the main road leading towards Sector Río Claro. Walk along the road for approximately 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for signs towards the Observatorio Solaris. The observatory is located in the Hijuelas area, so follow the signs or ask locals for directions to 'Observatorio Solaris' if needed.
